We are a Bachata and Merengue cover Band. We play all types of Bachata Hits. We can be hired for all types of private and public events such as Music Festivals, Night Clubs, Wedding, Birthday Parties, Collage Parties, etc...
We are a band of six musicians and we provide 100% live music ( No sequences or playbacks).

Jose Taveras also known as “EL Classico De La Bachata” is one of the best bachata acts in central florida. Taveras was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York. Tavera has become well known among famous bachata artists for his outstanding musical talent. When artists such as Zacarias Ferreira, El Chaval de la Bachata, Teodoro Reyes, El Gringo de la Bachata, and many others come to Central Florida on tour, El Clasico de la Bachata is the person they call to accompany them at their shows. Famous bachata singer Zacarias Ferreira considered him to be the best bachata guitarist in the central Florida area.

When it comes to live bachata bands in central Florida, el Clasico de la Bachata’s group is one of the best bands in town. The group offers a big variety of bachata hits cover songs (old hits and new hits) from all the best bachata artists. “We’ll play anything the audience asks us. If they want old hits songs—we have a full music repertory of songs from Anthony Santos, Raulin Rodrigues, Luis Vargas, and Frank Reyes to offer them. For the younger crouds, we have plenty of songs from Aventura, Prince Royce, El Torito, Zacarias Ferreira, and many other young bachata artists to offer them, as well,” Said Jose Taveras.

Good sound quality matters! Therefore, El Clasico de la Bachata always tries his best to offer great quality sound at his shows. He brings his own PA sound, and in addition, he is also the sound engineer to ensure the best sound quality possible at his show. The group is hired very often at venues, private events, and to accompany other artists. Jose Tavera also specializes in doing all types private events such as weddings, birthdays, Barbeques, employee parties, and many other types of events. In addition, only six band members form Tavera’s group, which makes it very affordable for hire.

El Clasico de Bachata is proud to say, he has performed and opened for big names in the bachata genre—artists such as Anthony Santos, Ector Acosta (El Torito) Luis Vargas, Zacarias Ferreira, Joscar Zarante, and many others. It is a fact, that when it comes to Bachata bands in central Florida, El Clasico de La Bachata’s band is the one people recommend.

Although El Clasico and his group only play bachata cover songs, Taveras is currently working on his own Bachata album, which he plans to release on mid February 2013.
