CR2 (formerly Classic Rewind) is a classic and modern rock band from Columbus, Ohio. We specialize in playing excellent live rock music based on the great songs of the past. Having such a vast reservoir of musical and vocal talent on stage creates rich, rewarding layers of sound, ranging from pastoral acoustic soundscapes to heavy guitar romps; all tied together with a colorful tapestry of vocal harmonies and solid drumming.

Band Biographies:
Corey Reeves: Bass & Vocals
Corey has been playing music for over 25 years in the Central Ohio area. As a classically trained player early on, he was driven by the 70s rock scene: "I traded my horn for my first guitar after high school." He quickly developed a blues guitar style at open stage jams with many of Columbus' finest musicians and has played at local night clubs and private parties in bands such as: Fender Benders, Rugburn and Duplicity. He co-founded the band that would become Classic Rewind and delivers a diverse range of singing styles, while playing rhythm, lead and bass guitars.
Rich Fisher: Guitars & Vocals
Rich has been a semi-professional guitarist for over thirty years with a reputation for showmanship and musical artistry. At Ohio University in the 1980s, his band, Watergate, played "Rock from the Nixon Era" and became a regular attraction at The Union Cafe, The Frontier Room, Spanky's, and other campus nightspots. They headlined South Green Weekend, East Green Weekend, and SpringFest performing for crowds of over 6,000 people and recording in the studio and live for OU recording majors and their professors. After college, Rich formed the band Sound Advice, and hooked up with local favorite Crissinger for a short time. Rich spent most of the 1990s recording and perfecting his signature guitar sound and in 2001, he teamed up with Corey Reeves to begin putting songs together for what would later become Classic Rewind.
Joe Grimm: Vocals, Harmonica, Percussion
Joe was formerly the lead vocalist of the red-hot local band of the 80s and 90s known as The Brothers Grimm. Amazing vocal feel and presence create and atmosphere of pure rock and roll excitement.
We are totally self-sufficient, requiring no more than an area to load in, stage our gear, and set up for performance. Any in-house lighting will be used as needed. All we require is solid electrical (no ground faults, etc.).
