An incredibly versatile and experienced pianist, Yumi can play any style of music (classical, jazz, pop, Broadway etc) and her vast repertoire ranges from simple, romantic melodies to complex and upbeat pieces. She can accommodate any special request you might have, whether it's a specific song or a specific style you'd like to have played at your event. She truly loves working with people and helping them create the ideal atmosphere for their event. She's worked extensively providing background music for all sorts of occasion (weddings, dinner parties, corporate events, funerals, christmas parties, etc.)
She often plays in duo formation with the violinist Oleg Larshin.
I hired Yumi for a funeral visitation and she was excellent at playing the songs I requested in a way that was quiet enough for the venue. She arrived early to practice and she was always very kind and polite. I would most definitely hire Yumi again and I highly recommend her for your next event with live music!
Around a week before my wedding, we had complications concerning music. After a couple of initial messages and a phone call for further details, Yumi had no issues coming and blowing us away. After giving a few requests for songs and the go ahead to play any other accompaniment she felt would be good, she handled the task amazingly, and had me close to tears before my bride even came down the aisle. She even had the pastor asking for her info, so they can suggest her as well! Yumi was amazing, provided the perfect ambience, and I can't thank her enough for the experience she provided at the ceremony!
I had her for my son’s baptism and everything she performed was perfect! She knew exactly what to play and was flawless. Couldn’t recommend her more !

I can provide background piano music of various genres, from strictly classical to jazzy and popular songs. I can accomodate special requests, if submitted ahead of time. I can perform alone or in collaboration with other musicians or artists (actors, dancers, visual artists etc).
I can work together with event planners to create the desired atmosphere for the event (that can include involving and booking other artists)
Born in Italy from a musical family, I graduated from an Italian Conservatory at the age of 18, then moved to Warsaw, Poland, to obtain a Bachelor of Music, and finally landed in Dallas to pursue a Master of Music degree. I've performed extensively as a soloist, chamber musician and in collaboration with orchestras in Italy, Austria, Japan, Poland, the Netherlands, Guatemala and the USA.
Parallel to my international career, I've also cultivated a local career, playing outreach concerts all over the metroplex and providing background music for all sorts of public and private events.
I cannot provide an instrument of my own, so the venue of the event needs to have a piano or an electric keyboard for me to perform.
