I am here because I love to perform classical piano pieces, so I would only deliver my best, putting attention to detail and to your requests.
If you need a piece that is not in my repertoire, I will give you the time needed for it to be prepared in the best way to meet your expectations.

Ray Alegría

Ray is a passionate musician; pianist, singer and songwriter living in Vancouver, BC.
He started playing drums since age 12, and gathered stage experience since, playing in lots of gigs like band contests, school performances, classical recitals and solo acts.
Ray learned to play acoustic guitar autonomously and has taken several singins lessons.
He entered the Bachelor of Music at the UAN (Nayarit) at age 20, with piano as main instrument, learning technique, classical repertoire, music theory, harmony, counterpoint, chamber music, electric guitar and classical singing, among other subjects and had taken several master classes with renowned classical pianists such as Alain del Real, Isaac Nammé, Ulises Hernández, Andrés Sarré, Nika Jonicenoka, and a semester of piano with José Luis Gonzalez Moya in Guadalajara city.

He's been teaching piano since 2011 to several students, from kids and teenagers to grownups and school groups, at beginner or intermediate level.

He's worked with Rice & Beans Theatre company as a guitarist, cultural and music consultant, arranger and composer in their ‘MADE IN CANADA: An agricultural song cycle’ as well as a guitarist and singer with ‘Los Dorados’ Premier Mariachi band here in Vancouver, BC, since February 2019.

Pianist by profession, Ray loves music in general, from playing classical piano, singing, playing drums and composing, passion and quality can be expected from him every time he engages with a music project, like his own, which has already 15 unreleased songs ready to be published, and many others composed ready to be recorded.

No special requirements for lighting, staging or sound. We can discuss it and work with what's best for you.
