We engaged Brian for my son's wedding rehearsal dinner in a private dining room at a restaurant. We had 33 guests in attendance. Brian arrived early and played wonderful cello music for nearly 4 hours during the cocktail hour, dinner and mingling after dinner. Almost everyone commented on the elevated aura that he created in the room. His music selection was outstanding and his style was indeed elegant. We paid him more than he was asking since he added so much to the evening! He is a "class act". Next time I will reserve him well in advance to ensure he will be available.

I cannot say enough great things about Brian. He's a true gem of a person and musician. Brian made all my wedding ceremony dreams come true by being attentive, thorough, and mindful of what we needed and wanted. He managed beyond just his music, but also everything from sound and PA, to logistics with our planner, to rehearsals with our other requested musical components (like cello and vocalist). He was so flexible and invested in making our day wonderful. I have so much love for Brian for making our ceremony just the most magical!

I can't say enough about Brian. He is professional, friendly, communicative, and an AMAZING cellist. I'd asked him to arrange a special piece for a surprise proposal. There were some moving pieces day-of, he had to get down timing and adjust his plans, and he did everything without a problem! I'm so grateful to him for making our special day so perfect. His rendition of our song was lovely. He arrived early, got set up, worked with my photographer, and even provided us a copy of the piece he arranged - a small keepsake for us. All very classy and spot on. Whenever a need arises, I'd lucky to get to work with Brian again. Highly recommend!

Wow! What an experience.

Not only did Brian perform with passion and virtuosity, he also gave informative mini-lectures in between the suites with historical and musical context, and he printed off programs for my guests to follow along. In addition, he brought historical texts and even manuscripts so that the musically inclined folks could have an even richer experience of Bach’s masterpieces.

This was the second time Brian has performed for me and my friends and it was clear: this was not just another gig but a life’s work.

What a wonderful addition to our daughter’s wedding ceremony! Brian Gaona was hired to play cello and, as we also wanted someone to play keyboard, he brought in a pianist, Stephen Uhl. By virtue of their extensive educational backgrounds in music, I expected them to sound great and they absolutely did. It was just what we’d hoped for. Together they performed as our guests arrived and were seated. They then played our daughter and son-in-law’s three chosen pieces for the processional of the bridal party, for my husband, daughter, and I to walk, and then for the recessional up the aisle after the ceremony. It was perfect. Brian and Stephen were professional. And throughout the process of meeting Brian by phone, communicating with him for a few months before the wedding, and up through the big day, he was extremely pleasant and helpful, and ultimately, he was the right person to be a part of this special day. I wasn’t there. I grew up in a house where music was an everyday event. This was the experience I wanted for my sister and my brother in law for their anniversary of their wedding day. Brian Gaona added Beautiful cello to an original song of mine. It makes my song better for it. Brian even practiced with me on two separate occasions (drove to my home during a slight blizzard once) & practiced on his own just to make the cello as good as it can get. In short, Brian was Awesome. A very nice guy too.
