Not only is Clay a talented performer, but he's a super nice guy and extremely professional. He played for my '80s themed birthday party, and was a huge hit with our guests. He performed for 2 hours during cocktails as we had agreed, and then went on to DJ some fun '80s music for an additional hour just to be helpful. He even wore a fun '80s suit to keep in the party theme. I can't speak highly enough of him, and I would hire him again without any hesitation.

Clay is an incredible professional musician. He arrived early was totally prepared and provided musical entertainment for our party that was better than we could have ever imagined. Beforehand he asked about the music we liked and he played exactly what we liked and even our favorite song that he normally doesn't play. I would recommend Clay to everyone. He was nice and personable and commented to people nearby. He made our party fantastic and I'm so glad he played for us.

Than you Jennifer, I appreciate the review :)
We hired Clay Bell to play guitar and ukulele at our post wedding party at a local winery. He played lovely instrumental dinner music during dinner and entertained after dinner. Clay was a huge hit. He is professional, a fantastic singer and guitar/ukulele player. He has performed since he was 5 and so he is at ease and engaging on stage. We asked if he would mind if we (bride and groom) played some songs with him on our ukuleles and he said yes. He practiced with us and ensured we looked and sounded good. We had so much fun performing with a professional. We can recommend Clay without any reservations. You will be happy you hired him.

Thank you Gina for having me be a part of your very special event. You have a wonderful circle of friends. Congratulations on your triumph!
I can't wait to recommend him to other events in Napa. He is not only very talented, he was an excellent communicator and showed up on time and self-contained with his equipment. Our event was a garden party cocktail party and it was the perfect vibe and fit. He played a good variety and added vocals too.

Thank you for hiring me to perform for your revered guests. I'm glad you had a great evening. Best-Clay
We hired Clay to play our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. We were impressed by Clay’s professionalism and talents leading up to and throughout our Big Day. Clay has a wide range of songs he can play, and he considered our musical interests as he prepared his setlist. On the day of, he kept the occasion light and fun, getting everyone dancing before we sat down to dinner! He also learned an instrumental cover of The Beatles’ “Something,” which my wife and I sincerely appreciated. Overall, Clay is a fantastic guitarist and singer to hire. We can’t wait to hear him play again at other events!

Thank you both, it’s extremely important to me that I bring fun and joy to your special day. Thank you for taking the time to let me know. By the way best Recessional ever!!! You get 5 out of 5 too.
We booked Clay for our Napa wedding of 100+ people. He was extremely good about communicating and following up on all of our needs and requests. His bassist that we requested also was excellent. The duo required minimal direction but did everything that we asked and more. We received so many compliments on the music for our event, and would hire him a thousand times over. Thank you so much Clay!!

Response from Clay Bell:
Thank you, very kind of you. I hope our paths cross again soon. You two have a great sense of humor and joy for life.
Clay played three magical hours of music for our event and set the tone for a great time among friends. Clay transitioned between songs without stopping and had the crowd in awe with pitch perfect and soulful skill all around. Clay took requests and had us all singing along. Well done!

We hired Clay for our father's 80th birthday party and we could not have been happier with our choice. He created a playlist that was perfect for our location and guests, creating a lovely and festive atmosphere. We had to modify our start time just a day or two before our event and he accommodated us with no problem. Clay was always prompt with responses to our questions and requests. Aside from being very professional he is an all around nice person.

Response from Clay Bell:

The music was enjoyed by all and the evening was complete with it!
Clay did a wonderful job at our event at Peju Winery, he set the mood for the evening perfectly. Would definitely work with Cleagle again. Thank you!

My husband and I were finally celebrating our marriage and had Clay attend our event as a one-man-band. Clay arrived on time with a small sound system and a rolled up vintage carpet- just perfect for our little set up at the Autocamp Russian River in the woods. Throughout the night my guests pulled me aside to tell me how great he was. Clay even stuck around longer and had some lovely chats with my guests. Thank you Clay for playing for us and for being so responsive throughout the time of booking.
One Man Band
I asked for a variety of music to listen to while sipping wine. He definitely delivered! The group has nothing but praise for Cleagle. Great communication leading to the event and he arrived with plenty of time. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Response from Clay Bell:
Thank you very much Maria, it was a pleasure to do what I love. Best to you-C
Clay was everything I could have hoped for (and more!). He was incredibly responsive leading up to our event and spent 20 minutes with me on the phone talking through how it would work the next day. His acoustic rendition of "Simply the Best" was exactly what I wanted for my proposal, and he also took the time to rehearse a song that wasn't on his list because he knew my girlfriend was a big Taylor Swift fan. To top it off, her nephew dropped his toy car into a river, and Clay played Baby Shark to calm him down. I would 100% recommend Clay for any event!

Clay was fantastic to work with! He made sure all the details were confirmed in advance, arrived at the venue with plenty of time for setup, and the music was AMAZING!! Thank you for adding a beautiful memory to our special day.

Working with Clay was amazing! He was responsive, professional, and did an amazing performance for our students. I can't recommend working him enough.
Acoustic Band, Guitarist
My husband and I had a small wedding reception so having a band didn't make any sense. I don't know what kind of sorcery Cleagle did, but he made himself sound like a multi-person group. His sounds were so rich, song choices on point, and his stage presence was amazing. It was like we were long time friends by the time the night was through. I would gladly hire Cleagle again in a heartbeat.
Singing Guitarist
Cleagle was a delightful addition to our wedding, playing beautiful acoustic guitar during the ceremony as people were seated, and then for our processional and recessional. Everything was exactly as we had hoped it would be, and it was a true pleasure working with you and your team! Thank you!
Singing Guitarist
We were looking for a solo acoustic guitarist that wasn't a typical guy on a stool, something upbeat and fun and not your typical covers. Cleagle was fantastic. The whole process was smooth and easy, he brought up something we wouldn't have considered. He played a bunch of requests off the cuff- AMAZING I received SO many compliments. Would recommend to anyone!
Singing Guitarist
Booked for my wedding and it was the best decision we made. He is incredible, his positivity is contagious and honestly he made our wedding day absolutely perfect. I can't recommend them enough!!!

I am self contained and only need access to power.
About
Born into a musical family I dropped out of kindergarten to go on tour with the family band. By age 16 I was fronting my own band and playing nightclubs and in my early 20's I was a signed artist touring the USA.
When I moved to San Francisco I started playing solo, busking and performing 5-6 hour sets of request as a featured performer at the historic Ghirardelli Square. Between songwriting and playing covers I was thrilled to be a full-time working musician in the Bay Area. Small shows led to bigger shows and now I mostly play weddings, corporate events and private parties. I do volunteer work performing for our troops serving overseas as well as local fire departments and first responders.
I'm equally at home playing a backyard party or for 10,000 people in Vegas.

Influences & Inspiration
I dig crooners like Cole, Crosby and Sinatra. Out Law country pioneers Willie, Waylon and Cash. Songwriting Masters The Beatles, Paul Simon and Dylan. My style as an acoustic fingerstlye guitarist was most influenced by Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed, Lindsey Buckingham and Mark Knopfler. I'm a sucker for 80's pop and 90's alternative.
