My 4 yr old is obsessed with horses so we wanted to have a pony party for her. Reads Farm was professional and provided the perfect entertainment for our party. They were flexible with what we wanted. They bring two ponies and made sure each kid was engaged with the ponies and had a memorable time.
My daughters 6th bday party could not have been any better. The facilty was clean and spacious. They were organized and as nice as could be. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely remember them for future parties. Well worth the money.
Reads provided ponies for a family party. They arrived early with plenty of time to get the ponies ready for the kids. The ponies were clean with excellent grooming. Their manes were decorated with pretty ribbons. They were very careful with the kids safety around the ponies. The kids wore helmets when riding. All the kids agreed it was the best party ever. Our 2 year old granddaughter is still talking about her wonderful day with the ponies. I will use them for my future parties. The experience was excellent and the service was fantastic. We offer Pony Parties and animal care education in Johnstown and Sunbury. Picnic, Cook Fire, Clubhouse, and Playground Activities are some of the other possible activities at either of the Farms. Riding rings offer your guests additional safety. Our Johnstown location also offers fishing as an activity. We can provide simple rods and bait, help first timers, and assist in the catch and release process as needed. Our horses and ponies are well mannered and ready to ride. They will also be decorated with ribbons of your color choice. We have 2 horses, and 8 different sized ponies to best suit your needs. Saddles are fitted correctly for both them and their riders. Safety first! Children will be required to wear a helmet and can bring thier own of any kind or use one of ours provided. Shoes must cover their feet; sandals are discouraged for use around ponies.
We are a family oriented business. Lead trainer, Kristin Abele, grew up with many family pets and has trained and worked over 20 years in the pet industry. Our goal is to entertain and excite children about the needs and abilities of the animals and activities that interest them.
Pleases make sure all riders have tennis shoes or other closed toe shoes for riding our ponies. Bring your child's own bike helmet or use one of the riding helmets our company provides.

All of our party ponies and horses were rescued from auction. We like to show how proper care and attention creates happiness and cooperation. Our Lead Trainer, Kristin Abele, has attended numerous industry conferences and pet training seminars and personally worked with over 20 other professionals to develop her skills. It is her mission to keep the ponies and horses together and safe the rest of their lifelong. Safety, well fitted tack, and proper care will be our priorities in providing you and your guests with happy healthy ponies ready to party.
Ponies will need a grass area for riding and grazing in between rides.
