We'll cover the five most destructive cognitive biases that routinely impact work culture. Once we identify and name the bias we can improve our decision making skills.
Example:
1. Co-worker shows up late for a meeting due to unexpected traffic delays. We conclude our co-worker is inconsiderate and didn't plan ahead.
2. The following week we show up late due to unexpected traffic delays. But this time we create valid, reasonable explanations to excuse our failure. This is called the "Actor-Observer Bias."
