She played great music the Gael, Ode to the Sea from Titanic and many other traditional tunes. What a professional. Colleen did such a wonderful job for my 9-year old's birthday party. She loves bagpipes, and Colleen played interesting tunes and took time to show the girls the instrument and speak on the history and culture behind it. It was a perfect 10 experience!

Colleen arrived on time and was willing to speak with the pastor that we had speaking for my dad’s funeral. She coordinated which song she would play at which time and when to start when we first arrived at the cemetery. We had so many people come up to us afterwards and asked where we found her. Colleen accepted my request for a Bagpiper on very short notice, and I am glad she did. Appropriate communication prior the event, a few messages and a single phone call. She was able to get the information she needed without overwhelming me with questions or details, which I very much appreciated. Colleen arrived on time and was ready to perform for my father’s graveside service as expected. She traveled from Boston area to Portland, Maine area, and I am thankful she was willing to travel, or my service would not have been such a success. I have never hired someone on GigSalad before, nor ever hired a bagpiper in general, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Her song selection and playing were excellent, and her attire perfectly matched my limited knowledge of what a bagpiper should look like. In short, she made my vision of a female bagpiper for my father’s service come to life even better than I hoped for. After the service, many of my guests told me how amazing she was, lots of "where did you find her?" questions. Hiring Colleen made my simple graveside service feel special. The pastor even asked for Colleen's contact info after the service, since he wants to hire her for future events! Her price was reasonable, and she was more than worth every penny. I would strongly recommend you hire this wonderful young lady to play the bagpipes at your event.

Colleen is an outstanding bagpiper, a true professional who was easy to work with in preparation for our event.
