I wanted to do something different for my birthday this year and have a comedian. But I didn't want just any comedian I wanted a Dominican comedian that would get Dominican humor. Julia did not disappoint!!! Her jokes were relatable especially for a Dominican south Floridian family. My jaw was hurting from laughing so much! About
Originally from the Dominican Republic, Julie Baez (JB Comic) is an upcoming local Comedienne with stories of her life growing up in Miami, and now married with kids. Inspired by legendary comics like Richard Pryor, Benny Hill and Joan Rivers. She began her comedy career at an Open MIC at Artistic Vibes Studio in South Miami and then started performing at the infamous Miami Improv in Coconut Grove. She has also performed at Ft Lauderdale Improv, Palm Beach Improv, Homefield Comedy Club, and The Comedy Zone, to name a few. Julie has also won several local showcases and comedy competitions around South Florida. She is the Founder and Executive Producer of Funny In Pink Productions, an all-female production that provides donations and fundraisers for non-profit organizations and charities.
Julie Baez is young and full of spirit in today's diverse society, with a little of Latin spice. She is sure to keep you laughing all you want. Bi-lingual show available (Espanol/Ingles).
