Comedian/Emcee Maher Kamal Matta

Maher was true perfection for a corporate comedy event. I was so impressed by his ability to capture his audience, even in a virtual environment. He interacted with attendees on camera or who used the chat function which created connection with his audience. His humor is clean, widely applicable, and he walks the line of politics and religion just perfectly for a very PC event. I have heard nothing but positive words about the Laugh Break we provided our organization. Highly recommended for his humor, his character, and his talents.

Maher was great to work with! He was very engaging with our group via Zoom and entertained us all. He is a pro at performing over Zoom and really integrated the commentary that was coming from our team. He also didn't mind the trolling our team did to him lol He's a great sport!

Maher was great. Given the strange year that 2020 is, we needed something that would be entertaining for our virtual holiday party and a differentiator from the numerous daily video calls. Maher provided a bit over 30 minutes of highly entertaining comedy, even engaging with individual people on the video call and commenting on their attire, backgrounds, etc. It was a great time.

In light of restrictions on large gatherings due to the pandemic, we were challenged to find a creative way to safely bring all of our employees together for our annual recognition celebration. We wanted folks to have fun while celebrating our successes, and decided to host the event drive-in theatre style. Maher never hesitated when we pitched the idea, despite the fact that delivering comedy is extremely difficult when you can’t directly interact with the audience for feedback. Maher did an outstanding job, delivering fun and appropriate humor, and everyone had a great time!

Maher was hilarious! I booked a gig for my dad’s 40th birthday and he loved it. We had laughs from start to finish. Maher not only told jokes, but he got to know us on a personal level and that engaged us even more. New connections were definitely made that night as we will definitely be booking and/or connecting with him outside of our events. We had a group of about 15 people, and he catered to both men and women. He was also able to do his set virtually due to the rain, and us having to switch the plan in such short notice. Phenomenal. I've had the chance to see Maher perform stand up a couple different times and have watched his You Tube channel. He is definitely a rising star! He has a unique and rare way of making making everyday life seem hilarious. He doesn't need to resort to innuendo and vulgarity to be funny. He's truly original and very talented. I really feel that of all the comics I've seen, this is the guy I'll brag to my friends that I was watching long before the big time!
