About
Jeff DeHart is an actor, comedian, impressionist, and songwriter. While attending Monmouth College in New Jersey, where he majored in drama, he wrote directed and acted in many original one act plays. Jeff was also an active member of several repertory companies where he performed in productions such as Cyrano, Pillow Talk, The Apollo Of Bellac, and Oh What A Lovely War.
Realizing that he had the ability to do stand-up comedy, Jeff worked his way into the New York City clubs, The Improvisation, Catch A Rising Star, and The Comic Strip where performed for almost 2 years before migrating to Mitzi Shore's famous Los Angeles Comedy Store. Jeff was selected by Mitzi Shore to represent the Comedy Store on a nationwide tour where he performed in colleges and universities across the country to standing room only crowds. Jeff has appeared in several films and countless television shows such as "Evening At The Improv", "Showtime", and "HBO". He has even co-hosted "America's Funniest Home Videos" with Bob Saget and has gone on to win an Emmy Award for his acting and impressions. Most recently, Jeff has co-starred with Louise DuArt on a cable tv show called "Cafe DuArt" and acted on the CBS show "Hack" and The History Channel documentary "Mouthpiece-Voice For The Accussed". Jeff has even done some writing for "The Late Show" starring David Letterman.
Jeff is known for his uncanny impression of Rod Serling ("Twilight Zone"), which he's done on national commercials for the Parker Brothers games "Boggle" and "Qubert" and Airborne Courier. Most recently, Jeff did a film for the new Honda motorcyles as Rod Serling. Jeff can also be seen doing his fantastic impression of Ed Sullivan in the ultimate variety show called "A Really Big Shew", produced by Siler & Associates. Recently, while performing as Ed Sullivan with "A Really Big Shew" at the National Auto Convention in San Francisco, Jeff was on stage as Ed Sullivan doing impressions of Jack Nicholson and Clint Eastwood. Jay Leno, who was also on the bill, was backstage laughing hysterically at Jeff's wacky Nicholson and Eastwood impressions.
In his comedy act, Jeff blends in many of his over 130 impressions and his original songs with his hilarious standup. Jeff has performed his act at comedy clubs all over the country as well as Las Vegas, Tahoe, Reno, and Atlantic City where he starred in shows with Merv Griffin and Louise DuArt. He has even had the honor of performing at Carnegie Hall. When he's not doing his act at clubs or corporate dates, Jeff usually takes to the high seas on many famous cruise lines where he has the audiences falling overboard with laughter.
Quite a few of Jeff's 130 impressions are actual look a likes, such as Rod Serling, Johnny Carson, George Burns, Ed Sullivan, Columbo, Jack Nicholson and Groucho Marx. Jeff does many corporate dates as Johnny Carson or Ed Sullivan where he hosts the evening festivities.
Jeff has recently appeared in the Martin Scorcese film "The Irishman" starring Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci where he played President Richard Nixon. Jeff also portrayed President Nixon in the 2020 Superbowl commercial with Ellen DeGeneres for Amazon Alexa.
