For commissioned work I ask from the client to have a well lite picture reference of what you would like me to paint. In addition to a size range how big / small you want the painting to be . In addition to the medium you want a watercolor or acrylic painting. Please keep in mind that the size range and medium influence the price and the amount of time the piece will take the artist ( me) to complete.

Upon graduating college, Daniela Godoy joined a research project sponsored by the Institute of Cultural Patrimony of Ecuador (a part of Ecuadorian government) as a photographer & painter. The project recovered and documented the ritual harvest songs of the Andean Indigenous community Chimborazo region of Ecuador. These songs date back at least 500 years in Ecuadorian history were in danger of disappearing.
She has exhibited her twenty piece series of paintings in solo exhibitions in various cities of Ecuador, as well as her first solo exhibit in Hungary 2013. Her photographs have been part of several group shows and publications in NY and abroad. Her pictures and paintings have been featured on numerous book covers and print publications throughout the years.
An Ecuadorian native, she earned her B.A, in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Her first major show was the Momentum Exhibition, at the Smithsonian S. Dillon Ripley Center in D.C, for emerging artists with Disabilities.
In 2018 She sold her painting entitled Cantoras del Jahuay/ Jahuay Singers to Museo Escuela del Pasillo in Quito, Ecuador. That paintingand a portrait of her grandfather, Gonzalo Godoy are on display at the Pasillo Musum, Quito which is visited my thousands every week.

Each commision requires 50% upfront fee from the total. Before I can start this fee in part allows me to get the materials required to create the piece. The second half will be due once the piece is complete so that I can then mail you your piece.I will post continuos updates on social media of the progress or send you private updates if you choose.
