The Contrasts Duo is a violin and piano ensemble that presents a broad and diverse range of repertoire that mixes performance art with the traditional. Yasa and Darren has performed internationally and has been the most sought-after ensemble. Their most recent accomplishments include 1st prize at the Lyric Chamber Music Competition, prizes from Arriaga, Coleman and Fischoff Competitions, finalist at the Carnegie Hall Fellowship and residencies from Carey Institute and High Peak Music Festival. They also shared the stage with the legendary Broadway singer Linda Eder, Lillie Mcloud (The Voice finalist), Sisaundra Lewis (X factor finalist), Jon Secada, and collaborations with various artists.
