We had Cornbread Wallace perform for our Women's Retreat event, he was very responsive from the start when we submitted our request. He was easy and pleasant to work with and made our event even more impactful! He brought his own PA / Lighting system and was very reliable with timing, clear pricing and super seamless with set up / break down, etc. Not to mention he was great at interacting with our guests, playing song requests - and his original music which was all amazing!
It started to rain during our event and he was very adaptable, ended up coming inside the house/venue and played acoustically on the couch!
We will definitely be booking him again at future events! Thank you!!
Cornbread Wallace was a great musician to work with. He was kind, professional, and played amazing music! We look forward to working with him again in the future.
We invited Cornbread Wallace to play for our annual Peace Festival, and he was a HIT! He has such a beautiful voice, and the songs he wrote were perfect for our venue. You want quality and an upbeat sound at a Festival, and that is what we got! We want him back again this year!
Response from Cornbread Wallace:
It was a pleasure playing for you guys and I look forward to doing it again this year! The venue was beautiful and the crowd was amazing!

I have my own PA, Lights, backline and break music. I do not require a sound person, or sound re-enforcement. I prefer to arrive 1 -2 hours prior to the event to setup and perform a sound check so I do not disturb guests. Background music can be played as guests arrive, prior to performance, and on the short breaks between sets. Volume control is not a problem I can increase or decrease volume as needed. I have worked as a wedding Dj, as well as a sound engineer so I know the ins and outs of professional conduct. I do not drink or do drugs.
The man with a voice as smooth as a Montana sunset and a heart as big as the Big Sky State itself.
Born in the picturesque city of Missoula, Montana, Cornbread has crafted a unique path through life that's as diverse as the genres he loves to dabble in. But what sets him apart isn't just his music; it's the genuine, relatable journey he's undertaken.
Early Beginnings:
From the age of 8, Cornbread found his passion for music while singing in his church choir. As a child, Cornbread would stand in the pews, his young voice lifting hymns to the heavens. The church's acoustics were his first taste of the magic that music held.
Life's Soundtrack:
Cornbread's music, often described as a soulful blend of country and Americana, reflects his life's ups and downs. His songs are born from the heart, drawn from personal experiences and stories of those he holds dear.
He doesn't just sing; he tells stories through his music. Whether it's a heartfelt ballad about love lost or an anthem code to the American dream, Cornbread's songs resonate with audiences from all walks of life.
Influences:
His musical influences are as eclectic as they come, ranging from Chris Stapleton's soul-stirring tunes to the electrifying rhythms of AC/DC, the harmonies of Boyz II Men, the Southern rock vibes of Lynyrd Skynyrd, and the timeless classics of Johnny Cash.
"I believe music is like a good recipe; you need a little bit of this and a little bit of that to make it just right."
Growing up in Missoula, Montana, Cornbread was exposed to a variety of musical styles, and he soaked it all in like a sponge. He would listen to his parents' collection of classic rock records, getting lost in the bluesy riffs of B.B. King or the infectious beats of Phil Collins.
The soulful sounds of the Blues Brothers, the storytelling prowess of Johnny Cash, and the melodic rock of Tom Petty all left their mark on him. He often jokes that his musical taste is like a smorgasbord, with a little bit of everything thrown in.
Driven by Passion:
When he is not making music, Cornbread is out there making things happen in the construction world. It's a testament to his determination and work ethic. He's no stranger to hard work, and he knows that the same dedication and perseverance that have brought him success in his construction career apply to his music as well.
Working in construction allows him to stay grounded, to keep in touch with the real world, and to appreciate the simple pleasures in life. He often says that there's something about the sound of a hammer hitting a nail that's oddly soothing, much like the strumming of a guitar.
More Than Music:
Beyond the melodies, Cornbread finds solace in art, creating vivid expressions of his soul on canvas, and whipping up delicious dishes in the kitchen. These hobbies offer a glimpse into the creative depths of his being.
In his art, he explores the same themes that run through his music: love, struggle, and the beauty of the everyday. His paintings are a visual extension of his songs, each stroke of the brush telling a story.
And then there's his cooking. Cornbread is known among his friends and family for his culinary skills. Whether it's a hearty stew on a cold Montana night or a barbecue feast on a summer afternoon, his food is as soulful as his music.
A Relatable Journey:
Perhaps what makes Cornbread Wallace so relatable is his battle with social anxiety. It's a journey many can empathize with, and it's a testament to his strength that he's risen above it to share his music and himself with the world.
Opening up about his struggles with social anxiety was not easy for Cornbread. But he didn't let fear hold him back. Instead, he turned to his music as a way to conquer his demons. His songs became his therapy, his way of communicating with the world when words failed him
Drivin' Like Hell:
Cornbread's latest album, "Drivin'Like Hell," is a journey through life's twists and turns, the open road, and the trials we all face. It's an album that speaks to the hearts of men and women aged 18 to 60, capturing the essence of the American experience.
From the foot-stomping, rebellious energy of "Drivin' Like Hell" to the poignant introspection of "Keep Trying," the album takes listeners on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. It's an album that reflects the full spectrum of the human experience, from the highs of love and adventure to the lows of heartache and loss.
How to Connect:
You can find his music on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, and more. Let the tunes speak for themselves, and who knows, you might just find yourself connecting with this down-to-earth artist.
So, if you're looking for music that's as genuine as the artist behind it, give Cornbread Wallace a listen. Cornbread Wallace isn't just a musician; he's a storyteller, a friend, and a reminder that even in our darkest moments, there's a song waiting to be sung.
