In the words of the mother of the groom, screamed on the dance floor at the top of her lungs, “this band is f***ing awesome!". Counterfeit Radio played my wedding this past weekend and it was the greatest wedding reception of all time. All of our friends still can’t stop talking about this band. At the end of the night the crowd begged for an encore and the band obliged, twice. They are equally talented musicians and performers, the vocals are incredible. My husband and I are now lifelong fans and will be attending all shows possible. Ken is the point of contact and is not only just a top notch human being but incredible to work with. He worked with my wedding coordinator per his request to ensure that everything went smoothly throughout the night. They also handled my ceremony music and learned to play a special song for me walking down the aisle, and it was absolutely perfect. I can’t say enough good things about this band, do not hesitate to hire them. I will consider getting divorced so that I can get married again and hire this band to play my second wedding.
We had Counterfeit Radio out for our company Holiday Party and these guys are awesome. The videos on Gigsalad don't do them justice as they are even better in person! I highly recommend them. If you are looking for a good time, a good mix of music, and a band that is easy to work with then Counterfeit Radio is for you. We will definitely be asking them back for our party next year!

Counterfeit Radio delivers every time I hear them. Great energy, great vocals, great sound. They work so hard to ensure that everyone who hears them has a great time. They are so flexible (worked with me on an event) and willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that the show they put on is what you want while ensuring that your needs are met (i.e, we had them for an event and needed use of the microphone at certain points, and they played around our event schedule perfectly!)

You can find us entertaining crowds at several clubs and outdoor concert venues around the DFW area.
Since forming, we’ve had a great blend of talented singers and musicians. We’re just a fun loving group of people who work by day and play by night. Everywhere we play we feel appreciated - as we appeal to all ages, playing a range of music that spans 5 decades. We keep it real because what you see is what you get. We are Counterfeit Radio, playing “real live” music…
Performance area requirements:
1. Stage - 20x20 hard, level surface area.
2. Power - At least 2 - 20amp circuits
3. Cover - Optional, prefer covered area for outdoor events (added protection for heat, sun, rain)
Band can provide quality PA and lighting for your event.
Band is willing to use on-site PA and lighting or back line provided by event.
Band rates are subject to a 2 hour minimum.
- 2 hour events (break optional). Any time more than that 3-4 hours, breaks will be mixed in.
Band will provide "mood music" before, and during performance times (if not provided by venue).
Band will review special requested songs to accommodate clients on a per event basis.
