I will bring and set up the art supplies - canvases, paint, brushes, etc. I walk the participants step by step through a pre-selected painting, answer questions about materials, techniques, and color theory. Participant painters are encouraged to experiment and make their artwork their own. Participants take their artwork home after the party. I clean up the supplies, wash the brushes, and dispose of brush water.

Courtney Alcon is a multimedia painter who specializes in nature-based imagery, intricate patterns, and vibrant, layered paintings. She was previously a Dementia Care Practitioner and is comfortable in retirement community settings, as well as school-age and happy hour events.

I will need tables for the participants to paint on - I provide table covers to protect the tables if needed.

I will need a sink for washing brushes, washing hands, and filling/changing/disposing of brush water.

The area used for painting must have sufficient lighting and ventilation. Some painting materials may have strong fumes or odors.

Please note that the paint and other materials used may leave permanent stains if spilled or mishandled.
