We are an Irish folk/rock band that plays traditional Celtic/Irish/Scottish storytelling songs and instrumentals, modern British rock covers (Led Zeppelin, Beatles, Cranberries, Green Day, Pogues), plus our originals. We keep the tempo upbeat, play drinking and dancing songs, and cover traditional Irish standards. Our two female vocalists captivate and entertain, and the musicianship is stellar!
Great music, a great crowd pleaser and very professional. I will definitely book them again.
Great musicians. Great performers, very professional . The audience loved them and they added a lot of class to our festival.

"Craic in the Stone" is a six piece Celtic Folk/rock band that can also provide top of the line PA equipment and portable stage lighting for events up to 500. Our members have been professionally involved in musical entertainment for decades, and offer a truly professional experience at every show we do. Since we are primarily a recording and concert band, we don't play weekly bar gigs, and are selective about the shows we book. Classy Wedding and corporate events and special occasions that call for traditional Celtic/Irish music are our calling. We play a mix of ballads, pub songs, ethereal Celtic folk music, and rockin' modern British Isles covers from Flogging Molly to The Beatles. For a Celtic themed event, it doesn't get any better than Craic in the Stone!
"Craic in the Stone" is a six piece Irish/Celtic Folk/rock band represented by Scott Well that has been performing since early 2013 around Southern California, and has released four full length CDs; Say Yes to Craic, and No Nay Never, A Stor Mo Chroi, and Pub Tunes. The band plays new arrangements of traditional Celtic and Irish music, as well as covers of modern British Isles pop (Cranberries, Flogging Molly) and original songs. We use standard instruments (guitar, bass, violin, bodhran) with four singers fronted by female lead and harmony singers. By mixing ballads, raucous pub songs, tight instrumentals and modern Irish covers, we create a variety of sounds and styles for an entertaining evening. Our substantial set list allows us to read the crowd and fit the mood to keep the energy right. Our members are experienced musicians from Orange, LA, and Riverside Counties, and have performed all over around SoCal. We have sold and streamed over 100,000 songs internationally and have a strong social media and live following. We have played at clubs, pubs, many Irish/Scottish festivals, theaters including Segerstrom Center Costa Mesa and The Chance Theater in Anaheim where we performed a month long run of our original musical production, "A Celtic Holiday with Craic in the Stone", We are currently in the studio working on our fifth studio CD and playing live around Southern California.
