Group of talented jazz musicians from the West Michigan scene. Plays at weddings, parties, festivals, etc;
The group is run by seasoned saxophonist Mitchell Jones who has played with world class performers such as Donny McCaslin, Russell Gunn, Wycliffe Gordon, and studied with Holland's very own Jordon Vanhemart. Mitchell's sound and style of playing is very reminiscent to that of Miles Davis, who had a cool approach to jazz.
Crain To is a great group - they are excellent musicians, played a great lineup of songs, including some impromptu songs - they were enjoyable to listen to and helped enhance the ambiance of the evening. They arrived on time, communicated very well leading up to the event and are highly recommended!

We play original music but can cover any song, in fact our guitarist knows every Beatles song. They can expect us to wonder the crowd by our presence as a group. If requested before hand we can play any cover that our client would like us to play.
Crain To is a West Michigan based music collective that was started out of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Started by Mitchell Jones who was raised on The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Donald Byrd, Chicago, and Herbie Hancock, Crain To creates music that combines elements of jazz-funk-fusion with the style of new wave-indie-experimental. The group is supported by all-stars of the West Michigan area - such as up and coming jazz prodigy Samuel Avendano. Although the band has been formed recently the group has known and played with each other for years. Crain To will always captivate listeners with their undeniably catchy grooves and off the wall stage personas.
All we need is a place to play and we'll be set.
