I highly recommend Joe Lugo and J^3 Creations. I used this company for a seminar for my entire staff on inclusion, leadership and diversity in the workplace. Mr. Lugo was well prepared, energetic, engaging and presented incredible information in a very interactive way for my staff. The seminar was well received and enjoyed by all. This presentation made a very positive impact on my staff and I know it will do the same for any organization that uses J^3 Creations for this purpose.

Joe Lugo of J^3 Creations conducted the DRIVE diversity and inclusion training for our entire staff. This workshop and seminar far exceeded our expectations, and its value continues to be regularly confirmed in the mutual understanding (and thus workflow efficiency) it has nurtured. The training was extremely well thought-out, the content was relevant, the interactive discussion was lively, the presentation was engaging, and the positive results are ongoing. Joe combines humor, no-nonsense practical application, respect for different approaches to the subject, and thoughtfulness in a way I have not seen before regarding this essential and sensitive subject.
Without reservation, I would recommend J^3 and the DRIVE diversity and inclusion training to any organization looking to improve morale, respect, and influence at every level. If you have any specific questions about Joe or this training, it would be my pleasure to answer them personally.
Sincerely,

I have never been part of a diversity training day so this was my first time experiencing it. Before the training my view on having these events was against having them and I still do hold that position. I came in with an open mind. I have the highest respect for Joe Lugo and his determination and passion is an example to me to strive for as I pursue a business/leadership field. He displayed both of these qualities and was excellent in his teaching style/presenting style. He had a way to make things understood very simply. Regarding the content of the training I had mixed thoughts. See below a list of specific topical reviews...
Diversity in general- I do think it's important to honor all types of cultural backgrounds and learn about other people's differences in upbringings/etc. It was good to explain this in the training because it gives us greater perspective of where someone is coming from. Conversely, this training content suggested that there is a kind racism (microaggressions, stereotyping, white privilege) to a level in which we need this training. I would disagree that it is not to that level and by having these topics included in the content would suggest that it is.
Discussion format- I really enjoyed the interactive elements to keep everyone involved. Since everyone has a different opinion on this subject it really helped me understand everyone's position better and caused me to do more critical thinking on the matter.
Speaker review- Joe Lugo delivered it! He excels in keeping everyone engaged. The breaks were in good spots and he approached this topic with great grace.

I had the privilege to attend a diversity workshop lead by J^3 Creations and Joe Lugo. As Head of School at a private school, the information presented was pertinent to our changing culture and very inspirational. Participants walked away with a thorough and/or clear understanding of diversity; how it affects the culture or climate of a business community; how leaders can foster inclusion and not division, and how celebrating diversity strengthens business communities.
Joe Lugo is a gifted speaker and motivator. The workshop was an all-day event. I was engaged throughout the event. It was evident that Joe lugo is passionate about strengthening business communities by educating leaders about diversity and inclusion.

Ms. Crystal L. Mascaro, MAEdL

DRIVE – Diversity Respect Inclusion Value Equity
Surveys reveal that companies with greater ethnic & gender diversity tend to financially outperform less diversified competitors suggesting that diversity & inclusion are critical for entities that want to attract top talent & maximize performance – whether higher margins or exceptional mission completion.
I recently was afforded the opportunity to attend DRIVE Training & found the experience to be outstanding groundwork toward building a more inclusive work environment, encouraging team cohesion & improving employee relationships.
Joe Lugo presents this material in an engaging & non-threatening manner that encourages all participants to open their minds & really embrace concepts that they may never have thought about before. Weaving personal experiences in with real life situational encounters allows everyone the perspective needed to recognize & overcome their own unconscious bias.
Throughout the day, participants were challenged to view various scenarios through their current experiential lens but also from the framework of a change-agent. It gave me the opportunity to understand the role I have been trying to find for myself in the area of Diversity & Inclusion. I highly recommend DRIVE Training for individuals & organizations looking to take the next step toward truly valuing people.
