Chelsea Conklin is a professional makeup artist in Orange County, California. She specializes in corrective beauty makeup for print, tv, film and weddings.

At age 19, Chelsea decided to pursue her passion for makeup artistry. She attended Empire Academy of Makeup in Newport Beach, California for those "serious about makeup" and took the Multimedia Master Course, which included over 400 hours of advanced training in skin care, color theory, and makeup artistry for print, runway, bridal work. Her training also included special fx makeup and HD makeup application for tv and film.

She has since worked with a variety of talented creatives including: models, actors, clothing designers, singers, stylists, photographers, cinematographers, celebrities, corporate clients, makeup companies, beauty pageant winners, motivational speakers, fitness gurus, and tv personalities.

I travel to my client equipped with my makeup kit, all my tools for the job, a comfortable tall makeup chair and sometimes even my portable table if space or furniture is limited. Ensuring we can set up in a bright space with natural lighting is key to achieving a flawless makeup application, so I always ask my clients to think about a good space we can set up in with good lighting. :)
