I am a one woman show providing high end quality designs and prices that can fit your budget. My products are all made using the best quality ingredients, including fresh eggs, butter, Belgian chocolate, quality vanilla and gourmet flavorings. Besides designing the cake at the consultation, I handle everything personally. The only help I have is a friend who will help with deliveries when needed. Customer contact from the first email to the day of delivery are primary considerations to me. After the cake tasting, if the order is place, I like to keep in touch with the client. I will email or call with updates about questions or changes if necessary. I am always reachable by cell phone if an emergency arises. My office where I meet with clients is conveniently located only 5 miles ast of Downtown Orlando. It is centrally located and reachable for anyone in the Central Florida Area. When the couple comes for a wedding cake consultation, they can expect to spend about an hour with me. We will work on the design of the cake that they want to serve to their guests. We also can discuss edible favors if they want them. I have display cakes for them to see as well as a portfolio of past and current work I have done. Some brides already know what design they want, and if they they bring a picture from the internet, magazine, or a book we can work with that as well. Swatches of their colors and florals are helpful as well. After tasting the cakes, if they decide to place an order, they will sign a contract and a retainer deposit of $100.00 will be required. This is a non-refundable deposit which will be applied to the total amount of their order. If they are not ready to sign on the dotted lign yet, I advise them that I will hold the date open for them for ten days. If I do not hear from them by then, the date will become open on my calendar again. Once the contract is signed the balance is due 3 weeks before the event. Some brides like to split the balance into two payments, that is fine, as long as the cake is paid in full before the date of the event. If payment is not received the cake will not be delivered. I also love to include any ethnic touches the couple may want. I have done cakes using a family recipe which they provided. I did a replication of a cake for a 50th anniversary using a photo of the original wedding cake. They had the original topper which was placed on the top. I always make every effort to please the client and offer the best Customer Service possible. When they sign a contract with me, they can be sure they will get the best I have to offer. Their happiness with their purchase is our goal.
