Cydney Washington

Cydney is a versatile singer, with a passion for music and performing. Cydney is well versed in several genres like Opera, Musical Theatre, Gospel/Worship, Jazz, POP , and R&B/Soul. Along with being able to sing In languages like Spanish, Italian, German, and French. No matter the style, she still has the ability to convey rich emotion in whatever she is singing.
Raised in the southwest suburbs of Chicago with her mom Catherine, Cydney and have always been one and the same. Growing up in the church singing Gospel and worship music, she spent a lot of time learning music by listening to other people. As those passions grew, the music vocabulary grew expansively. Through most of her pre-college career she participated. in Acapella, Jazz and Choir groups. It wasn’t until her first performance of ‘Godspell’ that she realized she was meant for the stage. But why Opera? Well why not? And so began the start of something new.
Cydney is currently pursing an Graduate degree in Opera Theater at University of South Carolina. With the support from her Mom and Family, she been blessed to perform in 10 different states across the US. Most prominently in Hawaii, New York and Massachusetts. Although she is pursing a Vocal Performance degree, She still has strong ties to the musical theatre world. Some of her favorite shows are Godspell, Be more Chill and Pippin!
When not on the stage or in the studio, Cydney enjoy’s daydreaming about working at Disney world, performing on the world’s largest opera stages, spending time with her mom and friends, and teaching voice in her studio CMW Sounds.

I will need a 50% deposit prior to the performance and to be paid the remaining on the day of the requested booking. Online I accept Zelle and Paypal. In person, I accept Zelle, Paypal, and Checks.
