Cynthia's career began with writing Jose Cuervo. It was the first song she ever wrote and it became the Billboard Magazine 1983 #1 Country Music Song of the Year. Soon after her success Jose Cuervo put her on a 28 Major City Tour to promote the tequila.
A year later Cynthia married and moved from being a local celebrity in Los Angeles, California to being a new mother. This prompted her to write music for children. She formed a choir she called Kids for Kids and the children performed at hospitals and fairs and festivals in the Shreveport/East Texas area.
In 1998 Cynthia moved to Nashville Tennessee where she acquired a record deal playing original piano compositions. Classically trained she produced 11 CDs of ambient piano for Page Music. She received a 5 STAR rating playing at the famous Blue Bird in Nashville Tn.
In 2005, Cynthia moved to San Angelo Texas where her creative music style changed. She wrote The Miracle of the Lady in Blue Ballet, the story of Maria de Agreda who lived in the 1600s and bi-located to the Native Americans in the New World.
Her genre completely changed to honky-tonks, boogies and blues when she wrote her musical Pearl. In the summer of 2023 Pearl was produced by ASU, the local University and SOLD OUT all 7 performances to a standing ovation audience.
Recently moving to Florida, she is now composing music in the Trop-Rock genre and is writing a new musical about a troubled man from NY who finds the meaning of life through the colorful characters he meets on Sarasota Beach.
Cynthia loves to entertain audiences of all ages. She loves to get them singing and laughing and her musicals can even bring a tear to your eye.
If you hire Cynthia, you can be sure your audience will love her show.
Cynthia can work with your equipment or bring her own.
