I go by the name D-Rocca. I was a finalist in the Iron Mic competition hosted by foxy 99, with the song "My Best Friends Wife". which won me the rights to perform at Summer Jam. I also won "Best Male Rap Solo" @ the 2011 Independent Artist Music Awards, I'm the published Author of 2 books "Monkeys Can't Sell Bananas" & "Good Cookies". Not mentioned that I am a certified Sous Chef. So yes that means I can cater your event. Provide Great Entertainment and a Good Meal...lol. On a serious note. A style that is new and well needed. A change from the average rappers that try to fit the mold of many before them. D-Rocca the name alone is intriguing in a world of rappers who have left creative guises to use their name or fashion their persona’s after fictional movie gangsters. But who defies categorization. Hailing from the bricks of New Jersey. D-Rocca is a no east coast emcee, and at the same token he is a no coast emcee, but instead an honest emcee, with a style that has been created out of his many places of residence. Philly/ Baltimore/ Atlanta/ California/ and Florida.
His delivery is uniquely perfect while, while confidently sliding lines together in a style that is nothing close to the typical gun clap rapper. Even more impressive is D-Rocca’s ability to write an infectious hook . Evident in the smash singles “200 on the Dash”, “Stalker” and “My Best Friends Wife”. All displaying his understanding of what a fan wants to hear.

D-Rocca is also a published author. With two books out and available to the public (Monkeys Can’t Sell Bananas… Good Cookies), He is showing that he is more than just a rapper.
