If could give a zero star review I would... Absolutely horrendous.
.. Avoid at all costs!! Even if he offers his services for free. Hired a DJ, got a disaster. First dance fumbled hard and literally played 2 other songs and stopped before getting to right one, entrance song wrong, mics crackled at every speech making it inaudible and embarrassing machine) and did not deliver. Music cut out repeatedly - unacceptable! Agreed on playlist split, ignored mine completely. Uplighting are trash and we're set up in the middle of dinner. Avoid at all Costs!
Can not listen to ANY DIRECTIONS what so ever. Hire for 5 year birthday parties or retirement homes only.

I got set up an noon in the hall where the respetion was going to take place Iwe went over to do the ceremony which was running late I was told that there was going to be a violist he hired to do part of the reception then do cocktail hour which changed then we get to the reception hall which I was set up lights were out set up the time is 355 they let me go in and get readumy for tgem to come in now they had a team of people of 9 people to coordinate but 3 were there at the beginning 3 came at 3pm then 3 more thought the day the first three we discussed every thing then around 350 they told me to move my equipment so I moved my equipment over forgot to turn the up lights up which I set to a purple color but didn't realize they were not on till dinner but I had the songs cued up ready to go in order but the bridal party did not come in tge bride and groom did that messed me up then I was thrown off because I had one of tge coordinators yelled at me in my ear at this point I did make some minor mistakes the interfere of tge mic was crazy it was horrible I use 400 dollars microphones well then open dance came I was supposed to play his list of music which did not work so I shifted the music which changed the atmosphere which was totally wrong we were supposed to do a black out in tge room then I was supposed to change with fog and layers but the venue had allowed the crowd to get the glow sticks early that was supposed to be the plan then he told me to play a slow dance song on the ruined the dance floor I can say I made a couple mistakes I have to admit I made because I'm a man of my word and integrity

We have a group called AdultPros that are for 50+ aged. We booked Da Moose and everything was smooth and he went above and beyond! Was on time even early. His son was help. DJ Moose also brought lighting that enhanced our event. He asked for songs that we loved and we heard em.
We will be using him again next year!

Dj Moose arrived early to set up, the song selection was good, wish he had more line dance songs. Some of my teachers requested songs but I don't know if it was the right version.

Da Moose no showed for our staff party after he was confirmed earlier that day. He turned his phone off so I couldn't even confirm that he was bailing. It was very cold here but no snow or precipitation. Roads were totally safe. Very disappointed.

We had our Holiday party for our very diverse company. And DJ Moose came through, he played all types of music that had everyone singing along and even dancing. We could not have made a better choice in DJ, he was extremely friendly and professional. He was at the event place even earlier than me getting set up. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Arrived on time/early; friendly; stayed later (for a few) when asked with no issues; started with distorted sound but got better after a couple songs. Our staff had a great time and it was an appreciated addition to our Christmas party.

Thanks for the honest review I try to start each event with me singing two songs sound check I only got one karaoke is very different then just straight djing you have to check out your sound before each event also my speakers were too close to where the singer was but over all we fixed the sound after 2 songs which it takes me if I was doing the same check my self thanks for the hire I also love yalls food lol

This vendor sent me a text the morning of my event stating his car was in the shop since Monday. He waited for the last minute to CANCEL.
If you told me 5 days ago, Gig Salad could have processed my refund and I could have found someone else.
You lack of planning and care for your customer (who PRE-PAID ) has now become my problem.
No I can't reschedule and would not give you a second chance.

My car went to tge shop on Monday prior to the date of the engagement I did call the day before but they did not call me back till tge next day I did try to fix the situation and I did pay back the money oh and I gave a huge discount for the engagement I normally charge 400 for this kida of engagement but I gave a big discount I try to make it but both my cars went to the shop mine then my daughter s on tge day of event I asked if we could change the date but they came with a bad attitude I tried I did even call gig salad the morning of at 7am to discuss the refund to tge client before the client asked in my years of work I missed 2 days one I had a backup dj here I could not find one for 50 bucks for 3 hr so I would have to pay them 400 dollars for the event so I tried to make it right they would not even buge on a real price
