Damion is a brilliant and very talented singer/performer. His performance at my ceremony was one to remember because everyone who was there is still talking about it and will remember it for the rest of their lives. He was notified of my wedding 10 days to the day of however he learned all the songs, he coordinated well with the whole wedding team including my DJs and other performers. Overall, Damion played a significant role in organizing the flow of the ceremony and delivered to the tee as envisioned. He’s intelligent, very attentive, and a great listener. Emerging as the middle child, his affinity for music found its roots in the earliest chapters of his life. At a tender age of 5, his voice echoed through the hallowed halls of the church choir, marking the commencement of a musical expedition. Progressing from harmonizing within the sacred ensembles, he eventually embraced the spotlight as a solo performer, leaving an indelible mark on local talent shows, concerts, and national events.
Immersed in the soul-stirring genres of R&B, Gospel, and Reggae, he drew inspiration from luminaries such as Bob Marley, Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross, and Shirley Ceasar, weaving a musical identity that echoed their influence. Despite briefly stepping away from the limelight to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Science at MSU, the allure of music remained steadfast.
The narrative of his artistic revival unfolds on the stage once more, with the added dimension of podcasting. As the charismatic host of "The Damion Oliver Show" podcast, he not only shares the melodic chapters of his journey but also engages with a global audience, extending an invitation to experience the soulful resonance of his voice and the multifaceted stories that define his creative odyssey. Driven by an unwavering passion, he stands as a testament to the enduring power of artistic revival and the boundless potential of musical expression.
