I have been performing as a vocalist in the Fort Wayne area for nearly 20 years, covering many genres from the Great American Songbook, Country, 50’s-70’s soft rock, British Invasion, Elvis and a host of others. I was a regular monthly featured performer at the Triangle Park restaurant for more than 7 years until it was closed due to Covid. I have performed at many major venues in Fort Wayne, including Jefferson Pointe, the Pine Valley Country Club, Club Soda, Byler Lane Winery, the Orchard Ridge Country Club, the Fort Wayne Country Club, the Grabill Country Fair, and the Harlan Days Fair. I can also offer you a full 5-piece ensemble called “Dan Heath and the Iconics” (see video below).

We had Dan out for an annual event at an outdoor venue. The mix of music he brought to the event created a perfect ambiance for the attendees. He helped to create a great event without taking away or distracting from the other things that were happening at the same time. He was self sufficient in setting up and his equipment created great sound that could be clearly heard throughout the venue. Before the event, he was great to work with and responsive to messages. Overall, a great interaction and would recommend!

Dan Heath will show up ahead of time, set up his sound system and musical equipment in the appropriate space. He will have already worked with you on the song set list so that his songs fit your audience or group. He will do a sound check to make certain the volume and mix of guitar and vocals are appropriate for the venue. If you hire him for 3 hours, he will have 3, 50 minute sets, again with input from you on each set. For example, set 1 could feature Country, set 2 could feature soft rock, set 3 could feature folk or American Songbook classics. Your input is paramount!
Dan Heath has been a featured vocalist with a number of major bands during the past 20 years, including the renowned New Millennium Jazz Orchestra. But he also very much enjoys performing solo or in small ensembles in more intimate settings. Dan covers more than 400 tunes in his vast repertoire from the top songs of the 50’s - 70’s right through to today. He features songs with beautiful harmonic melodies from James Taylor, the Beatles, other British Invasion bands, Vince Gill, Glen Campbell, Elvis, Sinatra, Paul Simon, and many others. He is very professional with literally hundreds of gigs performed in the Fort Wayne area over the years.
Dan Heath is also the lead singer and rhythm guitarist with “Dan Heath and the Iconics,” a 6-piece soft rock band that performs many of the same songs that Dan performs as an individual.
Dan Heath is entirely self-contained with his own sound system included in the price. Preferable stage area is approximately 10’ by 10’.
