Professional comedian of 10 years, New York City comedy veteran, Dan McCort honed his unique style performing in all the comedy clubs in Manhattan. He filmed an hour special (Audible Toxicology) in March 2013 and is filming his second hour in the summer of 2015. Dan was seen on The Daily Show with John Stewart and Extra with Mario Lopez in 2009 and 2010 respectively. He sold his first screenplay which is presently in pre-production. He was recently cast as the lead actor in a feature length film about comedy, to be filmed in the fall of 2015. Dan headlines clubs, colleges, private parties, banquets and corporate events. Outright hilarious; book Dan McCort while he's still affordable.
Dan had to entertain 16-18 year olds in the middle of the night. His comedy was sophisticated for some of the kids, but he read the crowd and knew when to change topics. He had all of them laughing numerous times. I would recommend him for any venue, since this was a tough gig and he did it well. He followed up and made sure that we were satisfied.
Price Range: $250 - $1250
Gig Length: 20 - 90 minutes

Born into an overachieving family of academics and writers, Dan disappointed everyone by graduating “Salutatorian” (Latin for, who cares, you're not Valedictorian) before finishing his formal training in the Behavioral Sciences. Dan uses this ironic wealth of worthless schooling and humanities to inhumanely humiliate humanity. Despite his limited optimism Dan continues to win over crowds and has built a 50K following on Facebook.

I'm versatile. I have over three hours of material for any occasion. I am NOT a comedian who singles out people in the audience, although my subject matter is cynically unhinged, yet thoughtfully composed. That being said, I can and have done roasts of people, for those into beligerant massicism. My subject matter is noted as refreshing, calculated adult content, yet I work far from obscene or profane. I was born into a family of academics, so I've naturally spent most of my life writting. I was fortunate enough to sell my recent screenplay to a large production house out of California, and the movie is currently in preproduction. It will be in theaters next year. I can work clean. I can stay PG13 if desired, but feel free to watch my clips and videos to get a sense of my style; nothing short of original. It should be noted that many comedians advertise in an online marketplace, yet actually work day jobs and moonlight as comedians. Some of these people do not have more than 30 minutes of material. That's fine, you have to start somewhere. Just a note on my tenure in the field. Comedy is not my hobby. I have worked in this field, full time for 10 years. I love my work, so I craft and cater sets for each individual audience. It's important to find the right comedian for your event. I have headlined comedy clubs, festivals and theaters from New York City to Orlando Florida. I was just cast as the lead actor in a film about stand up comedy due to be filmed in the Fall of 2015. View any and all videos I have on the site, or online. Take the stress out of finding entertainment and feel free to send a message or call me just to inquire: Dan McCort @ (phone number hidden).
