Dan Mires aka Mires like Fires has performed at private and corporate events all over California and beyond. I am the conference chairman for our association. Dealing with Dan was a piece of cake. He was early to the event, responded to all of our questions timely, and was patient with our vetting and approval processes.
95% of our membership found Dan to be highly entertaining and thought that he was fantastic. The other 5% were not thrilled with the expletives that were used during the act. Dan is probably the cleanest comedian I have ever heard but the set was not without adult language.
Overall our membership said having a comedian come to our event was a great idea and that they would recommend we do it again in the future. I guess that means that it wasn't all bad. Dan is highly recommended if your attendees can stand a few "F-Bombs".
Dan was a great entertainer for our Corporate Christmas Party. Dan was hilarious and we laughed the entire time. His material was thoughtful, organized, smart and we could all relate to! We would definitely bring him back again.

We hired Dan to perform at an appreciation dinner for 40 of our employees and their spouses. Dan was very professional from the first point of contact through the night of the event. He worked within our budget, drove an hour to our venue, and his performance exceeded expectations! He adapted to our audience and entertained everyone. Dan was very punctual. Very easy to talk. During the show, he adapted very well to the crowd's reactions. Tons of laughs ensued. The crowded loved the jokes, especially the ones catered to our company. Would definitely recommend booking him for other corporate events!
Dan was extremely professional in all of our conversations before my party. He came through and delivered an excellent show. He is very funny and quick and kept the entire crowd engaged and interacting. He saved the day and made my planning a very special stress free party a great success. He went as far as to light my sister's birthday cake candles with me and sing happy birthday to her with everyone. Although he is a pyromaniac, this has nothing to do with his nickname, "Mires like Fires." This is simply his way of explaining how to spell Mires...like Fires.
