We chose Dan off of Gig Salad. From the start, he was great. The night of the event he brought the reception alive! He was fun and very talented. We will be using Dan for our future events~ THANK YOU Dan!

When you want a successful, really fun party, have Dan Mudd. Every time Dan plays for our events, folks sing, dance ,make requests and enjoy themselves. I’ve had Dan here for engagement parties, Kentucky Derby and twice for receptions. He makes every event awesome. 🎶

Dan was in no way your typical overzealous cheesy karaoke singer. He stayed true to every song he sang and his humble personality made the music that much better. I hired Dan “the piano man”, he was great!! He arrived on time and played all the 80s tunes we loved and a few xmas songs. I will see Dan again next xmas for sure. Hire Dan and your party will be a hit.

Dan was absolutely amazing! I booked Dan for my brother and his wife as a surprise. He was very accommodating and flexible to all of our requests from any song requests to secretly sneaking him into the house ;-) He set such a romantic vibe for the dinner and his song selection was spot on. Dan did a wonderful job performing at our wedding! He learned the song Harvest Moon by Neil Young for our first dance and sang it beautifully. Many of our guests said he was fun and energetic and made the night!

Dan was amazing from initial planning to the end of the party! He made himself very available while planning this birthday party for my mom, was receptive to type of music and songs she/we requested. He was also flexible on the day of party, played wonderful "dining music" then stepped it up and played/sang all kinds of fun music after the meal that everyone could sing and/or dance to. He fit right in, people loved him, thought he was a member of the family! We will hire Dan again, no reservations.

Dan was fantastic! He worked for us at a Christmas Party at our house. At our request, he started with Christmas music, and then moved into 80's standards. He took requests. He read the crowd perfectly, and got the place rocking and everyone up dancing and singing along. His playlist is incredible - he seemed to know everything requested. This is the second event we've attended with Dan as the artist who was performing. What a great evening this was. He set the tone, he created the fun, and I don't know anyone who can do Billy Joel tunes better than he does! All the tunes were great, from classic to current. He really is the best. A real pro. Not just Billy Joel tunes, but Beatles, motown, doo wop and even a swing dance tune from the 40's plus lots more varied types of music and he took requests! What's so great is that not only is he a professional and performs so very well but Dan has as great a time performing as we do listening! Dear Dan, Thank you for such a delightful evening! Our event was such a success and all our guests had a wonderful time. It was so nice to see them catching up with each other hearing some piano festive sound in the background. This certainly made the event even more magical. We truly appreciate you mingling with the guests as well as part of the family. It was very important for us to ensure that our evening was a reflection of who we are (inside out) so our guests feels at home and welcomed. You being there was not only a nice addition to our family and extended family but you also brought a warm and festive atmosphere to the party. You being able to play so many songs and sing along (even that one love request song dated 1940); Wow, that truly touched the heart of that young couple who requested this song in memoire of the recent passing of their Grand-father. What we loved the most was the diversity of style and your flexibility to accommodate our guests without having a program of event. We loved the music and was wonderful at our wedding! He played beautifully and we really enjoyed having him play at our wedding! We look forward to contracting Dan for any future events where we need a pianist!

Dan was very accommodating despite the fact that we changed the start time. He is very organized and detailed so that there is no miscommunication and that everything goes smoothly.

He arrived at the event when everybody is inside the ceremony room and was able to set-up in the dining room without the organizers being available to assist. When the ceremony is done he is ready and good to go. That was smooth! Thanks Dan!

This review is for dan Mudd I consider dan a fried. Dan stayed in touch for the 3 months before our event with e mails or phone calls. Dan arrived at the event ahead of schedule and set up his equipment. He required no help from the event staff or myself . Dan was impeccable dressed and ready to play at the scheduled time. Dan gas a great play list and his piano and vocal skills were a 10. Everyone at the party commented how great dan was. I found Dan via Gigsalad and based on other client reviews I felt I had a good chance of it working out for us...but I kept my fingers crossed as I booked him sight unseen/unheard. Dan was communicative in the planning process and indulged my vision of playing Name-That-Tune in teams. We had so much fun! It was the highlight of the surprise party for my husband's 60th. The guests loved Dan so much that many asked for his business card and promised to book him for their future events. I wouldn't be surprised if they create events around the desire to book him! Dan played piano at my twin sisters' 60th birthday dinner and made the evening so incredibly enjoyable and fun. Not only was he on time, but he raced to arrive 15 minutes early at my last minute request. He played for 2 hours, virtually non-stop, taking only a couple very short breaks. He played the piano beautifully and sang when it was appropriate. We could not resist singing along. Every song he played was perfect for the occasion and the crowd. He is a very kind and pleasant guy - so easy to have in our home. We will absolutely hire him again for future events and would highly recommend him.

Dan was very accommodating, he adjusted his time for my party twice, when my guests had problem attending early. He does not have any problem playing with mixed cultural group, as my guest are! Beforehand, He said:"where going to have a blast!", and we did! the moment he started to play, the effect was sudden!. We were transported to the music hall,ballroom, disco, cabaret, bar, you name it! He carries a vast repertoire! And the best thing is; he's affordable! We had such a fun night, singing and dancing with him that everybody seem doesn't want to stop.

Dan was very professional and entertaining. He knows his music and was very amazing to watch and listen. Very impressed by his act. For our event, we had restored a 1900 upright grand piano and he played the antique the whole night. Made the whole night perfect. He was going up against a tough crowd and really got the people singing. I would hire him again.
