Dan Olivo and his band are just the best. I have been having him at my parties for years and he never disappoints. Having him is always the highlight of the party and he’s not only a talented singer he puts on a great performance and adds just the right touch of class. He’s also a great guy!

Dan sang all the classics. Our guests really enjoyed his show. My Aunt's 70th Birthday celebration was even better with his performance.

I recently had the pleasure of hosting an event and decided to elevate the experience by hiring Dan Olivo. I am delighted to share that it was an absolutely fantastic decision. His talent is nothing short of extraordinary. He seamlessly transitioned between Frank Sinatra to Neil Diamond songs. Dan Olivo has a wonderfully soothing voice and his jazz band really gave a wonderful performance. I would recommend for any venue really.

Dan Olivo Band provided fantastic entertainment, music and PA hosting duties for our non-profit fundraising event in April of 2019. Were very communicative throughout the planning process, and very accommodating when we suddenly experienced a downpour and had to completely adjust our staging. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely use them again in the future!

I threw my wife a surprise 10 year cancer remission party and found Dan Olivo on GigSalad. Soon as I talked to him I knew he was the right person for this special event. Dan performed at my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary dinner and he was amazing. He would quickly adjust his volume and tone of music to suit the every changing mood of the dinner, toast and dance. Was an outstanding performer and incredible Master of Ceremonies. My Mom was in tears because she was so utterly happy with the event. He is the consummate professional and an amazing performer. Dan Olivo was professional in every way - in his communication in preparation, accommodating our theme and needs, punctuality (he purposely arrived early to ensure everything would be in order and ready to go), his choice of music was perfect and performed with style, energy and enthusiasm, appearance was appropriate and styled to the 50's/60's crooner period. The guests were really pleased - some asked "where did you get him?! - Dan had the perfect touch to round out our themed volunteer appreciation party.

We hired Dan for my very special mother-in-law's 80th birthday. His voice and style were fantastic and he sounded as good, if not better, than the clips he has available on the web. He was professional and went right to work, moving from song to song. Everyone, young and old, danced and sang along and it was a magical night. Thanks, Dan!

This is the second time I have hired Dan. I hired him for a work event last year. He was so good, I hired him again for our house warming party. He has a great voice and he really knows how to work a crowd. I highly recommend hiring him for any event.

I had hired Dan Olivo for a large college campus event. He was punctual and was very cooperative with a constantly changing performance schedule. He offered to go on stage and perform to fill in the voids of performances.

Dan performed for my Mother's 90th Birthday Party! He was professional, thoughtful, personable, fun, and just PERFECT for the event! Everyone there LOVED Dan and his music. Everyone commented that he was just so special and could not have been better! I can't thank him enough for making her event incredible!

We had a 4 hour party at our wine store that was shared with another performer. This is the 2nd year we've hired Dan and as usual, he knocked it out of the park. He sings seamlessly with the music track (feels like there's a real band with him), and he's very passionate when he performs. I first met Dan over a year ago when I was looking at bands for my wedding. Dan performed at my daughter's gardening wedding, which ended up being the windiest day of the year, but Dan had no problem, he sang beautifully and had everyone young and old dancing and singing. This man is awesome, can't wait to have him sing for my family and friends again!

Dan Olivo is an excellent performer and singer. He interacts with the audience, very gracious with any changes to the agenda and very professional. We enjoyed him so much, we plan to reserve a gig in November 2013.

He was very flexible, professional and quite frankly a hero in my book since he saved the wedding when he stepped up and performed on a very short notice when our original band unexpectedly backed out. We hired Dan to sing for 3 hours at our wedding. Exceptional and fabulous only begin to describe our satisfaction with him. He visited and evaluated our venue prior to the evening resulting in both a great relationship and cooperation from the venue's staff and an incredible sound. Many of our guests asked if he was really singing or mouthing the words to the original artists.... that's how good he sounded.
With mic in hand, he worked and sang to many in our crowd. Our group enjoyed listening as well as dancing to his fabulous voice.

I recently hosted a large recognition breakfast for over 300 attendees. Dan truly stole the show and turned an ordinary annual event into an extraordinary experience. It was a perfect venue and the music Dan provided was incredible. The guest were all so inpressed, they are still talking about how wonderful his music was our Christmas event.

Dan did a wonderful job singing popular swing/crooner songs and really gave our party a great lively feel. The music sounded as if it were live, and his vocals are pitch perfect. Really fun and would recommend for any party where you want to get things hopping without hiring a full band.

Dan Olivo performed at our wedding on June 1, 2012. We had a small intimate wedding and Dan’s performance was just what we needed to add to the intimate, romantic ambience we were looking for. Our guests had an amazing time listening to his voice during dinner as well as when he kicked it up a notch for our guests to hit the dancefloor. Needless to say, he kept us entertained the whole night and knew when to slow it down or when to liven things up.

I hired Dan to come and sing the dinner intermission for our murder mystery show "Murder at the Conga Club" in Long Beach California.

Dan arrived exactly on time for his sound check and was one of the most professional performers I have ever had the privilege to work with. He did a 45 minute set and the audience loved him so much that I immediately asked if he could come back and preform again the following show.

He was really able to get the crowd into it, while at the same time maintaining his composure and professionalism as a performer. I would have Dan back to our show as many times as he is available to do so. Great Job Dan!

Dan was a true professional in every sense of the word, from the begining we had contact several crooners for our son's baptism/1st birthday, Dan took his time with us and went through in detail what we were aiming for, was in consist contact from the time we book until the very last mintue of the event.

Dan was an actor in a short film that I associate produced. He is a great talent with an engaging presence. The consummate professional, Dan was always on time and didn't drop the ball once the shooting stopped, always checking-in to see if there was anything he could do on the promotion end. He's also a really nice guy and you don't find that a whole lot in the business.
