Dan was incredibly responsive and accommodating throughout the planning process. They agreed to learn a few requested songs for the Celebration of Life. The band was amazing and they made the event. My only regret was that my attention was divided and I didn't get to enjoy them more.
Dan Walker and his band were such pros. They played for our parents 50th wedding anniversary and MADE the event. They read the vibe of the party and provided the perfect soundtrack. So many people were up and dancing and not wanting them to leave at the end! These guys are all so talented- such beautiful voices and skilled musicians. Dan was very communicative leading up to the event and even learned a Cat Stevens song in preparation- and performed it perfectly I might add! We can’t wait to book them again. Dan and crew were an absolutely terrific addition for my 50th birthday party! He was polite, responsive, and played a little bit of everything that kept the party going and the crowd dancing. We couldn't have been happier that we hired him and would definitely recommend that others consider doing the same!
I am a wedding planner and hired Dan and his band for a ceremony and cocktail hour in southern Maine. The overall experience from planning through day-of was wonderful. Their talents added so much to the couple's day. I work with many musicians who often think a wedding is a concert where people are coming to hear them play, and not a couple's special day. We booked Dan for a graduation party, unfortunately it started raining 1/2 an hour before the first guest arrived so we have to quickly change where everything was going to be set up. Dan was great, playing on a garage was not ideal, but he completely made the party and everyone kept saying how great the music was. I highly recommend Dan for your event!
We hired Dan for a company party and couldn't have been happier. We are planning to hire them again for our Client Party!
We recently got married, and after a long search decided to go with Dan. There was a bit of miscommunication here and there, but in all it was a positive experience. He is very versatile as a musician, and we were happy with our decision to hire him and his band. They learned a few songs for us, and kept the ambiance going from our ceremony, to the cocktail hour, and reception. Our guests were taken with Dan's talent and effortless performance.
Dan is amazing! If you want an acoustic guitarist he is it! So great to work with, and he even learned new country songs for us! I hope that I will be able to use him again!

From band to solo performance, you can expect a completely professional experience and your guests will have a wonderful time!
We will show up an hour early to setup sound equipment.
For weddings, we have two sound systems. This comes in handy when you want to move from an outdoor stage during cocktail hour, to an indoor stage for the reception.
We can learn up to 3 special song requests for your wedding, that is if we don't already perform those songs.
We can provide an iPod with a customized playlist.
We can perform instrumental music for ceremony, light acoustic music for cocktail hour and dance music for the reception.
Dan Walker and his acoustic band will help celebrate your big day!! Weddings and private parties, your guests will be talking about the music for years to come. With 20 years of professional experience, Dan has opened up for many great artists such as Martin Sexton, Livingston Taylor, Merle Haggard, Roseanne Cash and the Ryan Montbleau Band.
His song list has over 200 songs to choose from and the list is continually growing. He is also open to learning a couple special requests from clients. The perfect song that will make lasting memories is waiting for you!
Dan Walker is perfect for any occasion. He is available as a solo guitar/vocal or in small and large ensembles which can include, percussion, upright bass, electric guitars, drums, backing vocals, pedal steel and dobro.
If you would like to extend the agreed to performance time on the day of the event, it is an extra $125 per man per 45 minute set.

We have all been fans of many different artists. One show that sticks out to me the most was at the Shell in Hawaii. We listened to Jack Johnson, Ziggy Marley and Taj Mahal put on a performance of a lifetime. During that same year (2010) I was asked to open up for my all time favorite singer/songwriter, Martin Sexton here in New Hampshire. It was a great year!
