Chicago and Milwaukee area violist Dana DeBofsky started playing the violin at the age of four and fell in love with the viola at 17. Originally from Highland Park, IL, she received a BM in Viola Performance from Lawrence University and a Master’s in String Pedagogy at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She can frequently be seen playing weddings, events, and shows throughout the Chicago and Milwaukee areas. She has performed with musical acts such as Michael Buble, Josh Groban, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, The American ELO, Patrick Leonard, Doc Severinsen, Il Volo, and more. A versatile player with experience in a wide span of genres, Dana enjoys catering to her clients to ensure that their wedding or event is memorable and special for everyone involved.
No equipment necessary, I will come prepared with my instrument, music stand, and all music for the performance.
