Shooting natural light, outside at golden hour (an hour after sunrise or before sunset), is my absolute favorite time to shoot outside, but I'm not afraid of pulling out some off-camera flash or an Icelight if needed.
Certain shoots call for a studio space though, that's why I have my in-home studio space in West Babylon. My studio space is equipped with huge windows to let in natural light, along with studio lighting if that's not enough.
Your photos will be filled with emotion, creativity, and my whole heart. I've been known to pull out a film camera, prism, broken lens, crawl in mud, or climb a tree, from time to time. Anything to get the shot I'm looking for.

For as long as I can remember, I've had a passion for photography and art.
So much so, that I decided to go to school for it! I graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in 2011— with a focus in photography. I grew up shooting film, and processing it in the darkroom. That's where my love of photography began. While I still love shooting film for my personal work (and adore every one of my small army of film cameras), Photoshop has become my new "darkroom" and is very zen-like experience for me. I still love to shoot film whenever possible, and would love to incorporate it into your photo session too!
I really fell in love with portraiture while working on my Senior Thesis project at FIT. My sister was born when I was 18, and our relationship has always been slightly non-traditional, less of sisterly bickering, and more about me trying to look out for her and help her grow. My project focused on documenting our unique relationship. While the project was shot in a more documentary style it made me realize how much I loved photographing people and using my photography to capture these brief moments of time. Photography is a great way to preserve those moments of time. Those are the things I aim to capture with my photography.
I put all of myself into everything I do, and because of that you can expect amazing customer service from the moment you book a shoot with me. I want every client to feel special and like my only client. I bring my easygoing personality to sessions to make them as , and fun as possible so you have a relaxed day and feel like a million bucks after. Plus, super cute and creative packaging makes receiving your order as much fun as your shoot!
