Danielle Rogers was truly dynamic and life changing when she came to speak for a Youth Conference that we did in Los Angeles, CA. The thought of a person powerful, poised, wise and genuine enough to speak in such a compelling way that no eyes in the room were left unwatered. Danielle Rogers truly helped my youth move past so many past hurts, hurdles or grudges, and truly began by sharing The words left unsaid. Words like You Are Loved. You Are Enough. And the youth truly left inspired and empowered to live their lives in full effect and by catering to their hearts, Danielle Rogers then encouraged them to love themselves enough to shift their risky behaviors in a way that will allow it to be seen in how they treated themselves. Danielle embraced the “learning how to make lemonade from lemons” mentality very early in life. As a child she endured a turbulent household and parental instability which meant little encouragement; while emotional abuse defined her daily life. She therefore, developed an inferiority complex and a sense of worthlessness. As an adult she conceded estrangement from her son, Jamar Rogers, who suffered through the self-destructive pain of a six year drug addiction and reckless living. He ultimately contracted HIV. While navigating this bleak landscape; Ms. Rogers painstakingly and desperately sought help, yet another crisis far more sinister and insidious revealed itself; her then husband had been molesting their daughter. Yet, she flipped the script by refusing to live life as a victim!
The voice of Danielle Rogers communicates effectively to all kinds of people: men, women, parents, grandparents, the motherless, the brokenhearted teenager and the troubled child. Ms. Rogers believes that each person is here to serve a special, unique maybe even a divine purpose. Her goal is to help audiences discover and cultivate that purpose.
