Planning a funeral and burial is very emotionally stressful, and so it was such a blessing to find Danne and to correspond with him about playing for the services of my departed father. He made everything so easy in terms of planning and running through our plans for the day. He arrived early and was kind and professional. Can't recommend him more highly!

Danne played for my mothers funeral and was amazing! He offered several musical selections and wanted to make sure our experience was everything we hoped for! His form, attire and professionalism were awesome! Danne should be everyone’s first call for a bagpiper!

I needed a bagpiper for our wedding ceremony and in the haste of booking everything else, I forgot. I called Danne and he was available, reasonably priced, and very knowledgeable about our music selection. He gave us options for songs for the ceremony as well as where we could hear examples. I would recommend him time and time again and know we will us him in the future.

My husband is from N.T. but had not been home in 11 years. His son had not been to N.T. since he was a baby, he is now 19. I had never been there. This trip was very special as my husband walked his son through his childhood. His son never met his grandparents either. i decided to arrange a surprise memorial service formy husbands parents. Years ago they had a bagpiper play at his fathers funeral, so I thought I'd try and arrange for a bagpiper once again. I hired Danne to lead the recessional at my wedding. He was responsive to my phone calls and emails--getting back to me right away. He went to the church days prior to the wedding, so he was prepared for the day of. He was awesome afterwards: playing for the guests, stood in for pictures, and was great with the family. Professionalism and approachability were extraordinary, Danne is very easy to speak with while

I am highly recommending that Danne Farrell be in the listings for anyone who may require bagpipes (be it somber or uplifting, because he was able to come through on both counts for our event).

Additionally his knowledge and access to other bagpipers and drummers (bagpiper musicians) is extensive and his rates are extremely reasonable for all of the above.

He is able to carry the event by himself or build to accommodate a larger troupe of pipers and drummers.

Danne is the consummate professional, yet warm and approachable. He played for our guests as they were arriving for our wedding outside, and was greeted with smiles. He played as my husband and the best man came in, then played for our recessional.

I'd recently hired Danne to play at my Mother's memorial service. He was fantastic to work with. He was very professional and provided a very personal touch to the service. We confirmed all the arrangements over the phone and Danne arrived well in advance of the performance [thank you!] and expressed his sympathies for the solemnity of the occasion. He attended the service and played 3 wonderful songs for the attendees as they were exiting the church following the service. Simply outstanding and a very heartfelt touch to the service.

Danne played several tunes on the shore of Lake Erie at eventide for a memorial for my fiance who was Scottish. At sunset we lit the bonfire and Danne walked around the assembled group playing Amazing Grace and left with the music fading away. Just perfect...

Danne Farrell has added a delightful touch of class to the opening ceremonies for our event for the past three years now. This past year, as always, he did a terrific job, leading the procession of athletes and officials into the competition arena and then playing to a roaring crowd who just ate up the sound of his bagpipes! He has always shown up 30-60 minutes early to review and confirm the details for his role in the event and has been the a true professional. In addition, this past year, when the opening ceremonies ended, I quickly thanked him and paid him for his services and proceeded to move on to other tasks that needed my attention. A few minutes later he showed up to inform me that I had mistakenly given him $100 more than our agreed upon fee and handed me the money back. This guy is a class act - and an honest guy!

Danne played as our guests arrived for our wedding, bringing everyone to the correct outdoor location for the ceremony. He then played a Celtic wedding song during the ceremony and a beautiful Celtic recession song as we walked down the isle. Our wedding had a Celtic theme and Danne's music was perfect.

Danne was awesome!!
