” He sings like Lee Brice, plays guitar like John Mayer, and lays down a funky groove like Bruno Mars. It sounds so good you almost forget how good his lyrics are. That’s Danny Grause.” - Paul “PT” Thomas, Radio Host and Midwest CMO Founder. Danny can perform as a solo act or with a full band, both providing an eclectic mix of country, soul, and rock that is sure to please nearly any audience. As a solo act Danny performs with a looping system that makes him sound like 3 people playing together. Danny is available for large and small venues, private parties, and corporate events and has shared the stage with acts like Toby Keith, Lee Brice, Dustin Lynch and many others.
Danny made our wedding fun and personable. Danny does not only sing, but what a treat to listen to him play the guitar. Put him together with his band and you will have a great night. Guest loved Danny. We loved Danny. We would highly recommend!!!!

Born and raised in the Midwest, Danny Grause got his start in school bands and bars playing drums in high school jazz band and playing guitar in his father's band at 16. As a self-taught, multi-instrumentalist Danny learned how to play everything he could get his hands on, finally settling on guitar when he started writing his own songs. After travelling the world serving as an electronics technician in the US Navy, Danny came back to Iowa to return to his musical roots. That's when he caught the attention of none other than CMA and Grammy award-winning "Zac Brown Band" as he finished in second place in the "Sailing Southern Ground Song Contest" with his country-funk favorite "Don't Tell Mama", beating out more than 750 other artists. The confidence gained by that experience led him to begin fronting his own band and recording more original music. Today he is one of the most sought-after acts in Iowa, and he lends his talents to other regional acts like the Damon Dotson Band as well. Danny is one hell of a charismatic entertainer who always leaves the audience wanting more. An expert at reading a room, Danny can deliver the party all night long or perform a more laid-back set if the occasion calls for it. Give him a call today!
