Danny Whitson Magic and Comedy

My show promises to entertain all ages with a mix of stand up comedy and sleight of hand magic. Danny finds the humor of everyday life, family, and the silly side of being a magician with fun audience participation. The show can run anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and has entertained crowds of 200 -600 people.

Danny Whitson is a professional Magician and Stand-up Comedian from Oak Ridge, TN with a passion for magic, comedy, and meeting new faces with every show. For the past 15 years Danny has been entertaining people with cards, coins, ropes, and anything else he can make disappear or crack a joke about. He has entertained all over the Southeast at comedy clubs, festivals, Fanboy Expo, and corporate events with a nice balance of stand-up comedy about everyday life and silly but mind blowing tricks.

Danny has preformed with Kevin McDonald from the sketch comedy show Kids in the Hall and has opened for Dr. Bill Bass's Body Farm lectures. He has also performed for companies such as Bush's Baked Bean's, Waste Connections, and AllMeds. He has been featured on Traffic Jams and Jokes with WIMZ 103.5, Mental Floss, the Chive, Blank News Magazine as Knoxville's Magician. In 2015, Danny helped break and set a new record for the Guinness World Record for the longest comedy show.

I prefer sound for indoor shows, but outdoor events I have no problem projecting my voice thanks to my experience as a street performer. If it's a show that requires lighting as of now I do not supply lighting.
