I have been able to create a shift in audience members from stuck to confident; from stationary to moving forward; and from uninspired to excited for next steps!

My audience is usually experiencing a range of emotions during my speech, from laughter and awe to feeling a heartfelt connection to the power of a story or perspective I might be sharing. Worksheets or live demonstrations with audience members might also be a part of my presentations.

After observing the struggles of youth and adults in her Miami neighborhood during her youth, including an influx of drugs and violence, Daphne Valcin always dreamed of one day being successful and becoming a community leader.

Daphne is now a coach, speaker, and trainer focusing on career advancement and business growth who has been featured in Forbes and Voyage Magazine as a result of her work.

Daphne has served over 400 clients across 20 states, in the UK, and China since starting Daphne Valcin Coaching in 2014. Her clients have represented Fortune 50 and Fortune 500 companies including Salesforce, UnitedHealthcare, Lockheed Martin Corporation, UPS, and JPMorgan Chase & Co. and her clients have also represented organizations committed to social change including Higher Achievement, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and KIPP Public Charter Schools. Her clients have experienced exponential increases in business revenue, more leaders who make a commitment to be more engaged with their work, team members feeling more inspired and more connected to one another, individuals attaining leadership roles and responsibilities they dreamed of, and clients living more fulfilled, purpose-driven lives both personally and professionally as a result of Daphne’s work with them, earning up to 105% more as a result of salary increases during their work together.

As a veteran group facilitator, Daphne has spoken effectively to audiences for over 20 years with audience sizes ranging from small groups all the way up to an audience of 6,000. Time and time again, after her speaking engagements, organizational contacts have said they have never seen individuals so engaged and excited as a result of a speaker's presentation. Many of them tell her that she is the most engaging speaker that they have witnessed in years at their organization. Daphne obtained national training and certification towards her mastery in motivational speaking and group facilitation and has a passion for bringing groups together around applying the concepts of perseverance, motivation, and preparation as it relates to resilience, staff engagement, strategy, productivity, performance, emotional intelligence, and team building!

Daphne's domestic and international service work including work in Kenya and almost $40,000 in scholarships awarded to lower-income youth made her a two-time finalist for the Washington, D.C. Capital Cause Changemaker of the Year award. She is extremely passionate about helping others tap into their full potential personally and professionally, and believes that when individuals can do that, they become better leaders, employers, employees, and community members.

Her own journey, from pushing through personal and community struggle to hope and possibility, allows her to successfully lead others to a place of opportunity, perseverance, and dream realization.
