What to Expect

As a consummate professional, Darcy treats every event with the utmost care and integrity. Her goal is to ensure that your event represents exactly what you have envisioned, and she will work with you to make this happen!
Depending on the size and style of the event, she can perform as a duo with piano only or can add in additional instruments (bass, drums, horns, etc). With an expansive repertoire ranging from jazz standards and blues, to show tunes, cabaret and pop, she has the flexibility to get just the right tailor-made sound and size for your special event.
Details:
Darcy will supply all sound equipment for the event (unless venue provides).
Darcy will provide music throughout the event.
Special song requests may be made by the client prior to the event.
Emcee services are available during the event upon client request.
An extra mic will be provided for client use for special announcements, toasts, etc.
Darcy and band will arrive prior to event's start time to set-up. (with prior agreed upon timing and location)
Appropriate attire will be worn by Darcy and band. (semi-formal, formal, etc).
Darcy will work with client to ensure that all performance details are covered within the contract

Darcy Cooke is a classically trained jazz vocalist who has been performing nearly all her life. Her strong, clear voice exudes warmth and a depth of emotion that draws in and thrills her audiences. With an impressive range of styles and a fresh approach to repertoire, she easily moves from sultry ballads and soulful blues to classic jazz standards and high energy Broadway and pop.
With a love of jazz and a background in theater, Darcy is a master of song interpretation and an engaging storyteller who effortlessly guides and charms audiences through an evening of pure entertainment!
