The most requested instruction is called Dancing Thru the Decades where participants experience the #1 dances to the #1 songs from each decades. Sound system and music provided. Additonal for stage. This is now the second time we’ve experienced this dance show and it did not disappointment! Our friends keep telling us how much fun they had! We will be hiring her again next year no doubt!

If you are planning a party, event or assembly, you want someone that motivates and entertains your group, not just someone that teaches steps. You also want someone that you can hear well, so it is important the instructor has a good voice or microphone AND a good sound system. Most importantly, you want someone that can "break it down" for the beginners, but also keep the experienced dancers engaged. Christy can set the tone for your event so it is one that will always be memorable.
Christy Lane is a national dance instructor having taught in every state in the U.S. Her experience includes teaching and presenting at corporate events, private parties, school assemblies and community events. She started the company Dare to Dance 22 years ago and has been going strong since!
For events under 100 participants, sound equipment, lighting and music is included. For over 100 participants, sound equipment and music is included. There is an additional charge for lighting and staging if needed.

All music is age appropriate. There are no bad lyrics in songs for children to high school age. You will receive a message from us asking you for a preferred song list. It is important that the songs are the right beat for teaching beginners. Christy has been collecting a list of popular requested songs for each style of dance for years.
We have 3 sound systems, portable small, medium and large. Our large system can reach up to 400. We can plug into location's sound system for 400 attendees.
Staging is needed for 70 audience as attendees need to see Christy's feet while teaching. We can provide a 9' x 9' stage that is knee height for audience up to 200 for an additonal charge.
Available on request: Additional handheld microphone.
We offer colored lights that are not LED so they are safe on the eyes that are mounted on top of the speakers. We can provide more additonal lighting for an additional charge.
