What to Expect
Classic & Modern Rock / Country Covers and/or Originals (Please Specify). Our sound is similar to that Southern rock/ 70’s Rock era consisting of an acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, organ (keys), and drums. Some of our Originals can be smoothly worked into our “Dance/ Party” sets. Take a look through our current song-list below.
We have all equipment with full sound speakers and mixing board. This is a typical show with all 5 members of Daring Greatly playing their natural instruments: Drums, Electric Guitar, B3 Organ, Acoustic Guitar, Bass, and 3-voices.
We have full control of our volume but please note; the drums always sound louder in a smaller room. We will try our best to keep everyone happy.
About
Formed in 2012, the Canadian rockers Daring Greatly quickly garnered a following for their captivating harmonies and innovative sound. The band is composed of two brothers, Patrick and Liam Croome, sharing lead vocals, plus drummer Brayden Tario. They have been crafting music together ever since they first started playing together in their parents' basement in Calgary, Alberta. Drawing inspiration from a variety of sources, Daring Greatly has developed a unique sound that is both familiar and fresh. The band paved its own path with hours of experience performing over 1,000 shows across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. They have independently released four full-length albums, 'Cornerstones' (2016) and 'Works of Art' (2017), 'Give Myself to the World' (2021), and the latest release, 'Gird Valley (2022)', showcasing the bands growth and maturity as songwriters and performers. Their music is soul-full and original, with a style that is both unique and timeless. Each album is filled with heartfelt songs that speak to the heart and soul, and their music has been praised for its beauty, depth, and emotion.
The band has recently welcomed electric guitar player, Jeff Starkey from San Diego, CA and bass player, Brendan Cutrer from Oceanside, CA.
“I have had the pleasure of working with the guys from Daring Greatly. When I first met them in Nashville, and heard them play and sing in the studio, I was truly impressed. They have a sound and a chemistry together that is unique and inspiring.” -Peter Keys of Lynyrd Skynyrd
Their goal is to continuously share the message of being fearless, free, and vulnerable - to 'step inside the ring' and to dare greatly. The message is simple, but the music is even more powerful than that. This 5 piece group gathers heavy influence from the 60's & 70's classic rock era. Daring Greatly—inspired by Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt's "The Man in the Arena” and the writings of Brene Brown.
Today, they offer various arrangements in dynamic performances ranging all the way to coffee-shop, Folk/Americana acoustic sets to full scaled 6-piece Jam/Rock sets, that will fill a large concert hall or theatre.
