Overview
College Navigation Speaker and Young Professional Speaker at your Service
My main focus as a speaker is to lay out a road map towards success for college students. My talks include best practices on preparing for the transition out of school into the business world. Skills such as resume writing, job fair and interview prep as well as first job preparedness are my focus.
I love speaking to college students and young professionals, helping them shorten their own learning curve. I learned a lot of lessons the hard way. I provide wisdom and experience at an accelerated rate, and without the 'scars" I got along the way.

What to Expect
I love connecting with a younger audience and have spent a majority of my time speaking to college students and young professionals. The 15 years I spent as the Head Coach of the ASU Racquetball team helped me craft my messages of life lessons, and I enjoy shortening the learning curve of others. I have walked the path they are on already, and have learned many lessons, some of them the hard way. I share my experiences and wisdom so they can learn and avoid the "scars" that i got along the way.
I draw from a variety of life experiences, including surviving a head-on collision with a wrong way drunk driver, a Top 20 Professional Racquetball Player and an award-winning Coach. In my day job I am the Vice President of Sales for TriageNow, a telephonic nurse triage company. I sell this service nationwide, and spend time presenting to decision teams for Fortune 500 companies and growing the business through all facets of sales and account management. Twelve years in this role has helped me immensely in helping others prepare for and navigate the corporate world.
About
I have learned a lot about what it takes to excel. I didn't have an easy path, and because of these struggles I have learned a lot about overcoming adversity. Despite a late start, modest background, and no template to follow, I made it to the Top 20 in the World as a Professional Racquetball Player. After six years chasing my dream as an athlete, I switched my focus to coaching. In my 15 years as Head Coach for the Racquetball team at Arizona State University, I was a 2x Collegiate Coach of the Year, produced over 36 Collegiate All American Athletes, won a Women's National Championship and had a top 10 finishing team all fifteen years. I developed a culture of excellence that pervaded all 15 of those years, helping about 500 students develop their own habits and patterns for success.
In 2015 I was fortunate to have survived a head on collision with a wrong way drunk driver, and this actually became the impetus for my Public Speaking career. I volunteer my time for Mothers Against Drunk Driving and share this story at many of their events, and seeing the impact my story was having on audiences encouraged me to branch out and explore public speaking on a much wider scale.
In addition to a growing number of corporate speaking events around the U.S., I am a recurring guest lecturer for the W.P. Carey Business School at Arizona State University as well as a Speaker in Residence at the W.A. Franke Business School at Northern AZ University. My goal is to share as much of the knowledge I have gained through my personal experiences with as many people as possible.
I look forward to providing a memorable experience and providing actionable takeaways for your audience!
