I work hard to make your party an event! I always draw each guest in a good manner and provide a clear poly bag to protect each caricature. My booking rate is the Average rate in the Southern California area.
I draw caricatures of the guests at a wide variety of both corporate and private parties & events. Caricatures are a lot of fun and provide your guests with a great keepsake. I don't draw wild exaggerated caricatures. I engage each guest in fun conversation as I draw, which always gathers a crowd around my station. I come early, set up quietly and am always ready to start on time. I also carry liability insurance.
Dave was great! So personable. Kept my guests entertained. and was even able to get some 5 year olds to sit still for the few minutes he had with them. All my guests could not stop talking about their drawing. Will definitely hire again.

Dave was the perfect addition to my daughter's art party. He arrived before his start time and got right to drawing. Dave was great! He was professional, great with guest, helpful, and wonderful at what he does. He showed up early and started drawing guest quickly. We had the party at a skatepark for a 40th birthday and he was so easy about location and set up. Friendly with the guest and quick! His drawings we’re really great and fun. We hired Dave to do charicatures at outr Halloween party. Most of our guest were families with small kids and he was amazing with everybody but especially with the kids. So patient and playful that he had a crowd of children surrounding him the entire night waiting for their drawing. I will definitely hire Dave again. He was the highlight of a very fun night!

I provide well drawn caricatures that depict each guest in a good light. As I draw, I engage the guests in a lively, fun conversation that entertains them and the surrounding crowd. I am always dressed in a professional and appropriate manner. I am always on time and I'm user friendly! I am professional and have a good personality that guests enjoy. I am also asked to stay overtime for additional hours at a lot of my events. I work hard to make the booking agent look good. I also get the agent other jobs by displaying the agent's business cards. I always honor the agent's booking rights and Never bring my business cards to your events.
For the last 20 years, I have drawn caricatures for many of the top Southern California party and event planners. I always arrive early, set up quietly and am always ready to start at the contracted time. I like to start 5 to 10 minutes earlier (on my own time) and draw a few guests as my warm up. I also don't mind staying a few minutes after the contracted stop time. It's good PR. I work hard make your party an event! I am a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and work as a professional cartoonist, caricaturist and illustrator. After each event, I provide a detailed event report and send it back to the booking agent as soon as I return home from the gig. I'd loved to work with you.
I bring my own black folding chairs and small TV tray size black drawing table. I only need an electrical outlet for my 60 watt draw light. I always bring a 30 foot extension chord and a multiple outlet plug, just in case. I can and do use tables and chairs provided at the event.
