We are a jazz trio (sax, guitar and bass). We provide live music for various events. We cater to clients who are looking for music to add to the atmosphere and not overpower the conversation. Events such as cocktail receptions, private parties, corporate and political functions. We are professional musicians, each with over 30 years experience in the music business. The type of music we play could be classified as easy listening, jazz standards, latin music and any requests. Some of our higher profile gigs include playing a cocktail party for President George Bush, a Christmas Party for Prime Minister Jean Chretien, and Garden Parties for Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Tom Mulcair.

Studied clarinet at University of Ottawa, (phone number hidden)8. Worked as a freelance musician since graduation. Played with the Moxie Whitney Orchestra at the Chateau Laurier for 5 years. Played Orpheus Shows for 18 years. Worked on cruise ships for 5 years. Meanwhile playing gigs with my own trio for corporate, political functions, wedding receptions, cocktail gigs and private parties. Also played at various jazz festivals and numerous bar gigs.

The jazz music of the late 1950s to the mid 1970s is the largest influence on the style of our playing. I especially like the so-called "west cool school" approach to playing, musicians like Paul Desmond, Bud Shank and Stan Getz, to name a few.
We normally play without a sound system. In larger venues, however we would bring one if required. The only requirement we need is to be near a power outlet.
