I'm a professional singing guitarist/songwriter in Wilmington, NC. I graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, & also studied music at East Carolina University in Greenville (my hometown). I perform pop, blues, soul, Motown & even some reggae & country music, originals & covers. My covers range from Stevie Wonder & Bill Withers, to the Beatles, Chris Stapleton, Justin Timberlake, Bob Marley & more.
My song selection is catered to each booking & I provide DJ music (played thru my PA during breaks) in addition to the live performance (so there's never a break in the music). I perform solo acoustic w/ a loop pedal so it sounds like multiple people as opposed to a normal solo act.
David performed at a party I hosted for my real estate clients. I gave him a brief description of the vibe I wanted; easy, mellow, family friendly and he nailed it. His talent brought the party to the next level and I plan on hiring him for every event. He also brought everything he needed and arrived with plenty of time to set up and start playing right on time. After booking him I literally didn't have to worry about a thing! Thank you David!

We booked David for our wedding after listening to his music found online. I knew immediately that we needed to have him play at our wedding. David Dixon is a singer, songwriter & guitarist. He recently opened for acclaimed singer-songwriter Phillip Phillips (American Idol Winner Season 11) at Greenfield Lake Amphitheater to a sold-out crowd. Dixon studied guitar performance & songwriting at the acclaimed Berklee College of Music in Boston. He performs solo by creating live looped/stacked parts in real time, which creates a sound so big you'd think it was 2-3 people. Dixon's styles consist of pop, blues, rock, soul & more. Think John Mayer, Ed Sheehan & Shawn Mendes. Dixon has performed for the US Military in South Korea, and has also performed in the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, & all over the United States.
