We had a backyard BBQ-going away party this summer, and David Payton made the night extra special with his awesome musical talents and soaring vocals! A one man band indeed!
He played and sang all our requested favorites keeping our guests singing and dancing along ALL night long!! A real focal point of our party was for everyone to have the best night ever-and having live music by Mr. Payton made that happen! A super fun night had by all!

I knew David was going to be a hit at our wedding. We watched him play prior to, just to make sure he was what we were looking for. As soon as I heard him sing, my fiancé & I knew he was more than we ever expected to be able to afford. He took the time to talk to us & gave us the confidence that he has everything under control, so there's one less thing for you to worry about. David played at my small country wedding in Ellijay. He performed my ceremony & reception music. He started out nice and easy and kicked it up a notch, and then another notch as the night progressed! David surprised us all with an solo collaboration of many different songs through the years & it was a big hit, I will always remember! As long as David Payton is at your wedding, everyone young & old will dance & have a good time. I remember at one point, the entire dance floor was covered with people doing the shuffle, even my mom! My dad...a big fan of music, if he wasn't dancing, he was tapping his fingers & toes!

Do yourself a favor and book David Payton. David played our processional and recessional songs for our wedding ceremony and was the master of ceremonies and musician for our reception. He did a phenominal job! He is a wonderful singer/guitar player (and played the banjo for us). He was fun, energized and very good at getting the party started. He had the crowd in the palm of his hand before his first song was over. He danced, got the crowd doing line dances, mingled, and generally just wowed everyone. We had a friend who is a professional sax player join in with him on a few songs, and he was very gracious about that as well, and it went seemlessly. This guy was recommended because of his serious and diverse experience on the road..."a true road warrior"...so we figured it would be worth a look-see. My wife wanted jazzy, I wanted bluesy, the kids wanted pop and rock...I was going broke. Listened to a couple of clips and then realized this guy is a musicians musician and can to -with ease- whatever the situation calls for. We didn't realize how good he was until people started seeing the normal covers were so spot on, that's when the fun began and he started really making this a gig. David was not only a paid professional that made life simple but he was a part of the party. It actually started on stage with all the kids gathered around and him leading the party! Way to go David, you're a pro and a class act that can make your voice and guitar truly do anything.

You're lucky if you hire David. His performance was 10 stars of 5 at our convention. Our guests couldn't stop raving about his music. I have followed David's career for 35 years, from his portrayal of Conrad Birdie in Bye Bye Birdie to his portrayal of Tony in West Side Story to his career with Mylon Lefevre and Broken Heart to his current act as a One-Man-Band. He has been excellent in everything I've seen. If you have not seen David Payton "Live in concert" you are in for a treat!

David was at our chuch camp many years ago for a week, he is just phenomenal. He is so immensely talented! He sang a lot of his own original songs, but also was able to learn alot of the old camp 'favorites' very quickly, also teacing us a few new favorites! Oh, and if someone would shout out a song, Christian or secular, he'd bust it out, perfectly playing the guitar rifts and singing... It's been a while since I've seen him or heard him, but my memories of him being at camp are permanently ingrained in my mind. He is just that good. Book him, you'll see!
