I am with the Knights of Columbus, and we had the Wander Duo play for our annual dinner fundraiser "Italian Night". The duo's music was amazing for the entire night. They played a wide variety of Italian and dinner music, with the piano, accordion, violin, and their singing. When they wandered through the dinner they had tables clapping and singing along to their music, and knew how to work the crowd. After the dinner we had our guests fill out a survey, and the majority said their favourite part if the night was the music.

What an absolute pleasure it was to have Wonder Duo play at our wedding. Warm, welcoming, energy, fun and just two absolutely wonderful people. Our guests commented how beautifully they played and sang. They were without a doubt a highlight of our wedding. While I was off getting the wedding photos done I could hear their music coming from the cocktail hour location. At times myself and the bridal party were dancing even though we were quite a ways away from them. Guests also commented how lovely it was that they would walk around the venue to guests, even at their last song for the night they came up to the head table and serenaded myself and my new husband. I was looking for someone to play at my daughter's wedding. We were't exactly sure what we wanted. We ended up booking him and a violinist (known as the Wandering Duo). They played during the on-site ceremony which was lovely and also during the cocktail hour. Dealing with David from the beginning was easy. He's professional, has a huge repertoire and accommodated all our requests. Absolutely a pleasure to deal with and would not hesitate to recommend him to a friend. David played the accordion for my mothers surprise party, he played such amazing songs, he also did requests which was fantastic. David played a mix of older Italian songs and Coldplay/drake/backstreet boys, he really knew how to please the entire audience. Everyone was so happy with his performance, he made our evening perfect. David included the audience and everyone sang together and created wonderful memories. Thank you again David !

On less than a day’s notice we hired David for a 15-minute surprise serenade at a restaurant. Our primary song was already in his repertoire, and he has managed to rehearse and perform our second request. David brilliantly improvised the remaining music to match the mood - people got up and danced… even the owner of the restaurant.

This was my first experience with GigSalad… what an easy way to make such great memories.

David's performance at the event was exceptional. Playing the accordion outside, in freezing temperatures and snow, was extremely difficult, but very well done and appreciated. David introduced himself at the start of the event, spoke about each song he was about to play, sang while playing, and topped off the 90th birthday event by playing and singing Happy Birthday for dad, and for mom who watched the event from inside the building. A few relatives also watched from outside and inside, and also remarked about how great David was. The manager, some staff and other residents at the Long Term Care home also watched some of the event, and feedback from them was also extremely positive. Absolutely everyone enjoyed David's extraordinary efforts to make the event a memorable one. Allowing family to take a few pics and videos for keepsake, was also extremely appreciated. David was absolutely awesome, and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a terrific and very talented musician. Thank you Dave, from me, Dad, Mom, family and friends!!!

It made our 90th birthday celebration for my husbsnd more special to have David. He looked great in his German attire and played the right amount of songs.

We are thrilled to have discovered David online. We were looking for a singer and piano player that could play classical music back in the 70s. David is an entertaining musician for all ages and multiple generations, and could entertain us at any time of the day. Most importantly, the birthday lady loved it! David was a perfect fit for our event. This was a concert that our church was hosting with a musical group from the Iranian community to remember those who lost their lives on Flight 752 in January. David has a wide repertoire and helped us choose some songs that were a good fit for the evening, including one song that he sang in Farsi. He has a great signing voice and, of course, complete mastery of the piano. I highly recommend him.

The Wander Duo played at our wedding. They were absolutely perfect! The music was beautiful, with a great repertoire, and was just the right background - we knew it was there, but it didn’t drown out the conversation. All our guests commented on how lovely the Duo played (and I must say, their version of The Godfather Theme was even better than the original).

David couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating to us. The Duo showed up early and knew exactly where to go and what to do. I cannot recommend them more!

An amazing performance at my husband's 40th birthday. David and Ben played an amazing selection of songs and even played some songs to entertain the whole family including the little tots. It was a beautiful celebration for the whole family. We sang along and danced till the sun went down.

Davids playing and vocals were a perfect background to our affair. Not overbearing or crying for attention, he let the bride and groom be the Stars of the show and provided an appropriate atmosphere and song list.

They are just fantastic, Piano, acordion and violin, just amazing. Having the music play during our engament dinner time was fantastic, they knew exactly when to keep it low and when to bring up the music. Truly made the party. David and George played at our wedding and they were fantastic. David sang for us in English, Hebrew and Spanish, playing songs we'd requested, and working off the crowd. We had the pleasure of having David play piano for a cocktail party we had for my son and daughter-in-laws wedding celebration. He was professional and very talented. We had tremendous pleasure of having David and George play violin, piano and accordion at my dad's birthday party in late October 2015.

It was a last-minute decision and David and George did an amazing job preparing not only a long list of songs we requested just 3 days before the date, but they also prepared many songs that matched the style of music we asked for.

They not only met our expectations, but exceeded them!!!
Knowing that the crowd was 90% Polish - they prepared a surprise performance of Polish songs including Polish “Happy Birthday” songs to my dad. To which most of the guests sang-along & had lots of fun!!

I hosted a Birthday party for my daughter's 40th birthday party.
I thought a nice touch would be to have a piano player and maybe sing some songs along with him. . Guests finally warmed up and we had a lot of fun singing and listening to David play and sing. Oldies are goodies. Great time had by all!!

I found the Wandering Duo only a week before my wedding, and they were very accommodating by enthusiastically agreeing to participate in the celebration. David is very professional, and the duo was a fantastic addition to the celebration. In retrospect, we should have booked them for the entire night instead of just 2 hours, as all of our guests were very upset to not have them the whole night. The repertoire of music was vast, and they accommodated our Greek, Italian and Swedish (ABBA!!!) requests without blinking. Not expensive at all, and if budgeting is an issue, skip the fancy centrepieces and bombonierie (or whatever else will end up in the garbage a week later), and book David and the Wandering Duo!!!!

When David offered to learn 2.5 hours of new music for us, we weren't quite sure how well he would do, but he exceeded our expectations! Every song was played wonderfully and faithfully, and the guests seemed to enjoy it as well. While the price may be a bit higher than others, you definitely get what you pay for with David. I would definitely recommend him to friends!

We booked David Skolnick for a wine reception. The crowd was an eclectic group of international dignitaries. He was a tremendous addition to the celebration. Being musicians ourselves, my husband and I were very careful to select musicians to play at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour on June 20, 2015. After I found David online and we spoke on the phone a few times, I knew that I was in the most capable (and talented) hands. David performed piano during both our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, along with his guitar player Leo.

David's music repertoire is vast; he is able to perform all types of genres, and he also took any special song request that I had. It was so special to have live music during the ceremony, and although we hadn't rehearsed with David prior to the big day, he was always on cue. He was so attentive and caring, and it was obvious he was equally invested in delivering a seamless ceremony.

I have received so many compliments from our wedding guests about David's music during the ceremony and during the cocktail hour. Not sure if we'd have a sunny day, we had asked David prior to the wedding to setup in a room inside the venue. We were lucky to have a bright, sunny day; and David and Leo had no problems adjusting their set up to be outside. They played beautifully for about an hour and a half without pause. Their music created the most wonderful and joyful atmosphere during cocktail hour.

I highly recommend David's piano services for any event. He is an excellent communicator and responded to all of my questions promptly, both by email and phone. He is friendly, personable, and an extraordinarily talented musician.

We hired David to play the accordion at my husband's 60th birthday party. My husband is of Italian heritage so we asked him to play Italian songs. He brought along a violinist and the two of them played a variety of Italian songs as well as taking requests from the guests for other songs. Everyone at the party enjoyed the entertainment that they provided. We had a great party and felt that the music David provided helped make the party a success. I would not hesitate to hire David again.

David played classic french music on the accordion for our son's birthday celebration. He comfortably contributed accordion to the musical guest before him and it was beautiful, playing back up on Neil Young's Harvest Moon. He was friendly and moved into role of musical guest with ease. David's presence was warm as he moved about the guests while beautifully and expertly playing the accordion. Can't wait to have another celebration and have him back!

David recently participated in our Bat Mitzvah event at a golf course. He was professional and a pleasure to deal with preparing for the event. His music was exactly what the room needed to complete the event and it many of our guests commented on his excellent skills. I would ask David to join us again at another event without hesitation.
