David Wiseman is a solo singer/songwriter from the Appalachian Mountains of NC, creating “Blues, Folk, and Ballads; Truths and Lies.” It’s music with a dog, a couch, and washing machine on the front porch sound. David was awesome! He was there early and delivered well above expectations! He sings from the heart and set the perfect tone for our evening. He used his original songs and modified them for my girlfriend. She loved every second of it. I highly recommend David and would book him again without a second thought.

David Wiseman is a singer-songwriter from the mountains of Western NC. “Blues, Folk, and Ballads; Truths and Lies” describes his topical and timeless songs; music with a dog, couch, and a washing machine on the front porch kind of sound; a clever, gritty, and authentic approach to songwriting.
An Army war veteran, David writes songs in order to understand humankind and the world around him. “Panes skew what is really in front of us into distorted images that shape our unique perspective.”
His performances are enthusiastic and moving. Acoustic guitar, harmonica, a porchboard and David’s unmistakable gruff vocal style unite to reflect the souls of the songs he writes and the tales he tells. “Let me tell you a story…” draws listeners into his songs about hobos and trains, vagabonds and wars, dying and love.
